It is so beautiful and I really get a sense of peace so I can focus on my yoga practice, so much nicer than going to a gym as you get the whole experience & much more. The lovely teachers have given me more attention because of the smaller class sizes and they have taken the time to get to know what works best for my body. I couldn't recommend Yoga by Karma enough! What a gem of a studio!”

“I suffer from really bad back pain and hip pain after my car accident. I was struggling to walk without crying, I was struggling to do basic tasks, as simple as cleaning my house. I just couldn't take it anymore and thought to try pilates. My husband said he would join me for morale support and to see if she could do anything for his knee that got injured during action cricket years ago. We met up with Mary for a consultation, loved her. We knew we needed someone who could motivate us, because we would much rather sit behind a pc playing games. Its been a month with Mary now and we are more conscious about our movements and exercises. I am walking better, no more crying. I painted a fence (uncomfortable but not fully in pain like before), we are walking alot more. The exercises she gave to us as homework are as easy as doing lunges down the hallway, wall angels whilst watching TV, squats while folding the washing. “Over a two week period I have completed the PG1 and PG2 course then passed my Paramotoring course through Parapro - with Dave. The course exceeded my expectations. Over the two week period I observed that Dave is the most experienced instructor in Christchurch (due to his age and time flying) his mannerism is both calming and reassuring, which made him an awesome instructor. I came away with the confidence to continue flying on my own. Hopefully for many years to come. So if its been on your bucket list, give Dave a ring - you won't be disappointed! The equipment is the best and trainers are of the highest level and concentrate on every individual to bring out the best of their ability. It's a great place to boost confidence And meet new people while training. Out of all the gyms that I tried sitnarong is by far the best”

“The education and care for our two children are Kindercare Bishopdale has been outstanding. They have both felt loved, secure, safe and have learned so much across the board. All teachers and staff are incredibly friendly and have always been strong on communication and creating relationships with not just the children, but us as parents as well. Nutritious hot meals are a great bonus (how lucky are the kids getting fresh fruit crumble out of the oven?!)”

“This is a great place to start working on your marital status and is suitable for all ages 5+, though adults are not forced to go in sessions with those of such a young age. Not only does it teach self defence but it also teachers properly breathing and stretching. If you're looking for a good place to start martial arts, this place is for you.”

“We highly rate Portobelo! We have children in the preschool and nursery. We are consistently impressed with the caring, attentive, playful and professional nature of the teachers. There is regular communication on what activities the kids have been up to and each day at pick up they make an effort to let us know something special about their day. Their emotional and physical wellbeing is readily taken care of and the communication is efficient with regards to this. Our kids have developed bonds with their teachers and speak positively of them in our home, they really make it a great place. The set up is homely, yet modern, with great natural back yard with plenty of room - seperately for the nursery and preschool. Our kids strengths are supported, our boy is free to create amazing things and develop his problem solving skills. And our wee girl is provided with care she needs to develop independence. With regular events, we feel a part of the Portobelo community and it feels like a second family for our kids. If you are looking for a caring, enriching environment for your tamariki look no further!”

“Both of our daughters went to Kindercare Wigram from when they were 6months old until they started school. Every one of the teachers and support staff always made us feel welcome each day, staff were always approachable and the communication was amazing. Our girls were loved and cared for each day and their days were full of fun and different learning activities and opportunities. The transition to school from preschool was seamless and they were well prepared for school thanks to the amazing teachers at Kindercare. We have made lifelong friends from families at preschool and my daughters always love going back for a catch up.”
