“Another great experience as a walk-in. I arrived early and waited at the door before the 8am opening. I saw the triage nurse, then doctor, had an x-ray then doctor again, all within an hour. I had a broken bone in my foot so was in a lot of pain but the staff here were all so kind and caring.”

“I've been a patient of this practice for around 25 years. I've never had any issues. Receptionists are fantastic and will try find an appointment to suit. The online booking system is amazing, and has saved me time calling. Dr Cohen is lovely, and listens. On the times when I have had my Dr away, the locums I have seen have all been amazing and very professional. Yes, there are often wait times, but that's to be expected at a GP. You never know when urgent things or emergencies have cropped up. Very happy with their service.”

“It's never nice to have to take a trip to the after hours but the staff at Pegasus are fantastic. They're always so thorough and empathetic. I've been to there after hours twice now for 2 different urgent issues, I've also accompanied family members there when they've had health scares and all those times the doctors there have always been professional and treated us with kindness. They're probably so overworked and undervalued but they still put their best foot forward to treat those that need them. The wait times can be long but it's a great place to go if you want great doctors and nurses and access to a lot of the medical equipment and resources required for a vast array of emergency treatments.”

“I have had Dr Morrison as a GP for some years now , there is no need to change. He is both compassionate and extremely able as both physician and person . I never feel rushed and he has come through for me on personal issues time after time . His nurse is absolutely terrific and the centres staff first class . I cannot recommend St Albans medical centre highly enough !”

I enrolled here during my 2 year stay in the country and my GP - Dr Alex Andrews - has been incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially given my long list of ongoing health problems. He always take the time to listen and ensure I feel heard and looked after. A special shout-out to Georgie, one of the nurses, who has been absolutely excellent. She’s kind, professional, and always made me feel at ease. Plus she always looks fabulous in her funky scrubs. And one of the ladies at the front desk (Andrea?) — always super friendly and welcoming, and it means so much that she remembers me by name every time I come in. It’s rare to find a medical practice where every staff member goes above and beyond like this. Highly recommend to anyone looking for compassionate, professional care. “After years of frustration navigating healthcare as an immigrant to Aotearoa New Zealand, I’ve finally found a GP and an overall medical practice that actually listens, follows up, and has genuinely useful telehealth appointments 24/7 on the app. Not going to after hours or urgent care first is a hugely helpful thing, not to mention a GP as competent as Dr. Dorien, who is friendly and warm and genuinely knowledgeable about a range of issues. I was skeptical of the Tend app but am finding a huge peace of mind from the wraparound services. For how expensive healthcare is getting here, it feels like my money goes a lot further in this practice than it has in years of sloppy and inconsistent healthcare. “Everyone's experience with Moorhouse Medical is different I suppose and some people must be pretty upset when they write their review. My experience is simple. I could not get an appointment with my own GP for 7-days so the 2-hours I had to wait at Moorhouse Medical seems like 'nothing'. Yes, I was told over the phone that there was no body waiting...which must have change in the time it took me to drive there...but putting everything into context, I received great service.”
