   Extremely rude. I filled out paperwork ahead of time to become a new patient. When I stopped by to make an appointment the receptionist belittled me and made me feel stupid for hoping to see a GP. Several negative comments later and I understood that they weren't taking new patients. A prompt turn to end the conversation. No explanation or polite suggestion as to what to do next. I eventually worked up the courage to call another clinic who were significantly more polite and helpful.

   Another great experience as a walk-in. I arrived early and waited at the door before the 8am opening. I saw the triage nurse, then doctor, had an x-ray then doctor again, all within an hour. I had a broken bone in my foot so was in a lot of pain but the staff here were all so kind and caring.

   I am very sad because Dr Josh is changing his practice to Older People. He is the best doctor I ever had. He listened and he is very helpful. Highly recommend primary health care team.

   I was trying to get some specific paperwork sorted out which I suspected there may be some run abouts from the get go and told the dr I was seeing this would likely be an ongoing case and the dr said he would support me with this matter until I got my application for some medical assistance approved. He said I could email him directly if there were any complications and that he may even be able to help me if I needed any small changes without extra consult fees which I was super happy to hear as I was not enrolled so I knew it was potentially going to be a costly procedure. He seemed to genuinely understand the difficulty of my situation and said to rest assured as the complexity of the requests in these documents wasn't something he would lose patience with. I was thankful and emphasized on how I really appreciated his word as I truly hoped he would commit to helping me with each step a long the way in order to try make the process as smooth as possible. However the impression he gave me was false and this was not how the following motions proceeded. When the first problem arose he responded to my first email and made the changes we thought he needed to make at no charge like he said he would but unfortunately when I had further issues and needed him to fix one last small technicality which I said I was happy to pay for another appointment he completely started ignoring my emails for weeks. So I continually rung the office twice weekly for well over a month to try pass on a message and they kept saying they would get him to get in touch with me but they didn't. Eventually in the end after a couple months of emailing and ringing they simply said that he actually isn't able to help me anymore and I was no longer welcome back and to stop ringing. I'm absolutely disgusted with every part of how they dealt with this and their blatant lack of consideration or empathy especially regarding the nature of their work. They completely wasted my time and money and were extremely disrespectful and distasteful.

   This morning when I called there, I asked if it is available this afternoon, the lady who picked up the phone said no. After that, she kept asking me questions, including what type of visa I was holding, how long my visa lasted for, etc. When she told me it would be very expensive to see the doctor there, I said I went to another centre before, I had insurance to cover so I knew it, then she said, so why dont you go to another one? I explained to her it was more convenient for me to go to theirs, and then she said why dont you go to the Riccarton Clinic one, it would be much cheaper. Then I said thanks and we finished talking. I dont know how you feel when you read this passage, but my feeling let me mark one star or even less for this experience!
