Very good experience organising this with staff before the event and they were lovely to deal with. “Lovely shop. Busy but coffees were incredibly quick and well presented. Impressive stuff. Food was excellent as well. Edit 2. Another stop at the cafe. Cute to go cups & the barista on the machine is a consistency machine. Props to him. Cafe could use another carpet or two. Something to help with the noise.”

Got it to takeaway as I find the atmosphere to be crowded with everyone else in there little high eatery . Pizzas are great with a perfect base and that authentic wood fired taste . Flavours on pizza are perfect. Can highly recommend getting the crust dipping sauces to accompany the pizza either by dipping the crust or putting directly onto the pizza . Highly recommend going along and trying .”

“Grabbed the 2 slices & a soda for $14 on Saturday just to switch up what I usually get at Riverside. I was prepared to be unimpressed, but had the opposite experience. The 2 slices of pepperoni I ordered were comically huge and utterly delicious: spicy, cheesy, rich -- not sweet sauce -- flavoured with herbs and spices. Very good value, imo.”

Daragh was the lovely gentleman that took care of us most of the night, he had wonderful service and such a warm presence which made it way more enjoyable! And we had Ayung taking care of us the rest of the night and she was amazing on checking up on us and making sure we were happy all the way up to the end. “Sal's is our absolute favourite pizza place, we go every week for date night. Recently moved over this side of town and absolutely thrilled that the local Sal's is just as good as the one in town. We've been to almost every store in Christchurch now and always have the same great experience. Nothing compares to Sal's. The Papanui staff were friendly and provided excellent customer service. Pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the buffalo chicken pizza and pepperoni wheel.”

Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Our server quickly put the umbrella up, took our drink orders, and was back in no time with them. He handled all our pizza questions like a pro — friendly, clear, and efficient. The pizzas were delicious (as always), and everything came out promptly.
