“Delightful little Cafe on good street. I was quite surprised to find a Cafe in this quiet area tucked away from the main street! The iced coffee was delicious, the breakfast we had was good portioned and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the sausage and bacon as they were cooked perfectly whereas some places quite often burn these or are quite oily. The lady was very nice and served us with a smile!”

“Grabbed a pie and coffee here this morning - the selection was amazing - everything looked clean, fresh and very appetising. The coffee was great and the lady opened to the door for me as my hands were full. Someone using their brains! I had a steak jalepeno cheese - which I couldn’t even eat it all - hubby had classic mince and cheese. Perfect temperature. $25 for the lot (2 flat whites and 2 pies) Happy as.”

“I've been coming to this place for years, since it opened and love it for a quiet sit down. The cheese scones I genuinely rate as the best in New Zealand. Very unique, light and fluffy on the inside with a nice crust on the outside. Huge too.”

“Here there after seeing the name on Google Maps and liked the description! The actual experience was much much better. We were able to choose a quieter room but still full of colour like the rest. My food choice had avocado in it with peas - absolutely yummy. The wine was ambrosial! Servings are not huge which we appreciated but the flavours and textures were just succulent!”

The flaky, golden pastry is absolute perfection, and the filling is something truly special. The slow-cooked beef infused with Sumatran spices creates an explosion of rich, aromatic flavors, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of warmth and depth. Every bite is pure magic. Not only is their pie award-winning (and rightfully so!), but their customer service is outstanding. They went above and beyond to courier pies all the way to Palmerston North, and they arrived in perfect condition, safely guarded by a little gingerbread man! That personal touch says everything about the care they put into their food and their customers. I would move to Rangiora just to be closer to this bakery. If you love pies that set a new standard, do yourself a favor and get here. 1000% recommended!”

“My partner and I have been going to Sushi Ya for 3 months now, every weekend. The customer service from Jack has never disappointed us. He truly goes above and beyond for us and fellow customers. He never fails too put a smile on our face and we always leave the store itching too come back for more. The food is by far the best sushi we have ever had, we’ve never had a bad experience here. “Ok supermarket, which is well presented. Plenty of car parking and centrally located in Rangiora. Countdown has a good variety of products. Reasonably priced with most of products that you will need. Good customer service at the check outs and reasonably easy to find assistance if you need help. This supermarket is an ok place to get what you need. Nothing brilliant stands out about this Countdown apart from it's a quite new building, so it is has a very good layout inside and outside.”
