“Beautiful spot.... Kotanui Island, also called Frenchmans Cap = Fin Rock Island, is a sharp triangular rock rising from the water is about 900+ meters from Matakatia Beach shoreline.... Very clean safe and grt beach for family BBQ/Picnic & swimming! Friendly neighbourhood & it was not to busy on New Years Eve day 2022. Only one unisex toilet and small changing room as well as outside shower wit cold water...but clean & good.”

“Best workout without working out. Don't realise how much exercise you get until all the adrenaline and excitement wears off and the two day later muscle aches kick in lol best time with my kids and missus. Smiles all round. Definitely best to go at high tide”
