Rained earlier in the day so a little slippery, but manageable. Short nature hike with a waterfall at end, the trail itself is very maintained and easy to navigate. Outside parking area has plenty of parking, tables with no restrooms. Overall a nice little hike.

After a wet start to winter the trail wasn't that bad, sure the boots were muddy etc but we have had a lot of rain. Just after the entrance there is a bridge with option for the 15min walk to waterfall or a longer 2hour/3.8km "Beverly Price Loop Track". which was the one I choose (Anti Clockwise). A few climbs and dips before leaving the bush and ascending up through a clearing which was overgrown with gorse and cutty grass (glad I didn't wear shorts.) However the markers where still visible. Once at the top you get to a gravel road then head left a few hundred meters before entering the bush again. Was nice to see a few steps heading down. Then its up and down under and over a couple of fallen trees but nothing to prevent you from going back the way you came. the next junction is where its a 1min walk to the waterfall lookout or 15min walk back to the car. Waterfall is modest but worth a look. Glad I went but possibly wouldn't walk this again.

A very small 15 mnts walk to the view point from the motorway way or area you parked your car. I liked the bush around it especially the narrow thin road. Waterfall is not an worth visiting but the scenery around it makes the experience memorable.

Moir Hill walk is a 15 min short walk up to a tiny waterfall which is very easy for an average tramper but probably a bit challenging for some as there are several steps to climb. It goes through a lush green vegetation along a little creek in some sections. However, it is bit disappointing that the viewing deck is placed on the top left side of the waterfall, because you don't get the full view of this little waterfall. There is no access to go to the bottom of it. This walk connects with the more challenging Beverly Price loop track which is a 3.4km track with some sections not formally constructed but created over time by the repeated passage of people. These non-formulated sections are slippery too, particularly after a couple of rains. DoC warning notice at the beginning of the track indicates that this loop is for people with moderate to high level of fitness with strong footwear.

We did the waterfall hike, short and sweet. The waterfall lookout is on top of the waterfall, so you don’t get the amazing view of the fall as shown in google images. It’s still super lovely, any age could do it. Track is well kept.

Sadly the loop walk is closed off because of slips on the way, waterfall was nice I suppose

A heads up the loop track is closed due to slips. Probably would have been more appealing, though only the falls trek is open and is approx 10mins one way

It's great for the walk/hike - great exercise, nice forests on either side, narrow paths etc. As long as your main game is not the waterfall you will be fine. The waterfall is small and not worth talking about. Obviously can do more of the walks, but we only went to the waterfall and back as we were travelling between Auckland and Paihia. Was a lovely break. The quietude got us a bit tho - felt a bit scary when you knew you were the only two on that walk.
