“Our 2 daughters (now 8 & 10) joined Empire after attending a school holiday program with friends. We absolutely LOVE the studio and have recommended it to so many others. We particularly love the inclusive environment where students are empowered and supported to step out of their comfort zone and try new things and be their best selves. No body issues, hair styles or special uniforms required - just honest fun and friendship. My eldest has joined a competition team this year which has been a step up from the community classes in terms of commitment and skill level but she has been gently nudged and comes home every week wanting to practice and test her body and learn new tricks. She is so proud of herself every time she nails it. Thanks to Claire and Jaymie for the wonderful community they’ve developed and nurture. We love being part of it!”

“Barbara Jenner's review above has confused two venues. She is criticising the large Torbay Community Hall which is owned by the TCA - Torbay Community Association. Torbay Theatre, an amateur theatre group, owns the small Gate Theatre which is attached to the Hall. I hope this clarifies things?”

“My daughter loves MERC, we have been using them for about the last 6/7 years. The activities offered are always varied and exciting, my daughter comes home with lots to talk about and excited to go back. The staff are so friendly and helpful. “Our child has been attending Kindercare Warkworth since they were 6 months old, they're just under 2 now and we can't speak more highly of our and their experience thus far. The Kaiako are friendly and loving, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and they do so many interactive activities throughout the day, no matter the weather. It's also so nice to not have to worry about packing food as meals and snacks are all covered. We've watched our child go from strength to strength with their movement, confidence, speech and everything else. On the very rare occasion that there have been issues, they've been resolved promptly and professionally and we've been involved every step of the way. We feel confident that our child is in a safe and nurturing environment and absolutely recommend Kindercare Warkworth to anyone looking for a fantastic daycare.”

“My daughter started at KinderCare Constellation with very little English, and I was worried about how she would adjust. Howard, her Lead Teacher, has been incredibly responsible and caring. Kay has also been very responsible, always replying to my emails on time and in detail, which I greatly appreciate as a parent. After just three weeks, my daughter told me she likes Howard, and she has also made many new friends in the class. This gave us so much relief as parents, knowing she is both happy and supported. The staff’s patience, communication, and encouragement have really helped her feel comfortable. We also enjoy the daily updates and pictures, which keep us connected to her day. Thank you to Howard, Kay, and the whole team for creating such a supportive environment!”

“After visiting many centres, including some way closer to home, I can fully vouch for New Shoots Greenhithe. Everything is welcoming there: the teachers, the staff and the space. It is open, peaceful, full of light and surrounded by nature. I felt very supported on the early weeks where everything was new. Now, after 6 months, I can confidently say that NSGH was the best decision we could have made. I am amazed to see how my daughter is thriving, learning new things everyday, having fun no matter the weather outside. I can feel in our daily interactions how much the teachers and other staff care for her and she also shows she loves to be there by happily talking about them all the time. I highly and honestly recommend them.”

“Studio Move is the best place to learn dance! My daughter is now in her third year there, and it’s been incredible to see how much her skills and confidence have grown. The teachers genuinely care about the kids and create such a positive, friendly, and welcoming environment. We couldn’t ask for a better studio!”

“If you are considering doing Ballet as an adult, this is honestly the place to do it! They have so many different options for classes and I was so happy to find a studio that has the option of structured syllabus-style learning. The teachers are wonderful and make sure they know their students well so they can help progress them in a way that is unique to each individual. The community is very friendly and welcoming too. One of my favourite parts about dancing here is the annual show! We actually get to perform on a stage in a theatre with costumes and everything! It's optional of course, and we spend months preparing. Any one from any level is able to participate in it and it's an incredible journey to be apart of, and it's a time when the whole community is able to get together and support each other as it's no easy task, but one that is very rewarding in my opinion. All in all, I often find myself counting down the days until my next class. Cannot recommend DFLA enough!”

“Our 2 year old daughter started here 3 months ago and we are absolutely thrilled with this centre. It’s a wonderful, big, happy and exciting environment for the kids while also being surprisingly calm, and the teachers are truly wonderful. They have all been so kind and caring and have really helped to ease the transition for our daughter who has been nervous about starting kindy. You can tell that they are all truly caring and wonderful teachers. The centre also has a great routine with the kids and is well managed and privately owned which I think is a big benefit. Highly recommend.”

“Two years ago I signed up for So Inspired Fitness' 10 week beachcamp challenge. I was only going to do 10 weeks. I hadn't done much exercise in 10 years and the lock down snacking had made my clothes not fit too well. It been two years and beachcamp is part of my life now. My level of fitness and strength have increased dramatically. I am the healthiest I have ever been in my adult life and my jeans fit well! I love the varied classes, and how adaptable each exercise is, whether it's a modification for an injury or you are like me and want to push a little more. Clean eating has become a normal part of life. I have made so many healthy changes and I don't miss the unhealthy habits at all. Everyone is really supportive too. There is always friendly chatter, encouragement and understanding. And I love that we are often at the beach! Sunsets and beautiful waters definitely help!”

“My daughter started Love and Joy a week after she turned one. She is 19 months now.We can see how much her language has developed over the last few months. She can speak so well and clearly although we are bilingual. She sings most of the rhymes with actions. She has become independent sleeping , eating and also can solo play if needed. She is very social and interactive with people she meets. We have also noticed that she cleans up after play and puts things back in her place. Thanks to Lee and her team of amazing, caring and nurturing teachers. They make sure that the child has eaten, slept and well looked after. Also, my son who is now in school went to Love and Joy . Excellent day care. Highly recommend!”
