All the staff are highly professional and provide excellent care, supporting my child’s developmental journey. A special acknowledgment goes to Mel and Michelle, who are truly exceptional individuals and consistently go above and beyond for the children.”

“My daughter start Best Start Manukau from 6 months of age and now she is turning 5 soon. I love to see my daughter looking forward to go to her preschool even on weekends. All of the staff at the centre are so loving and caring. I have seen my daughter growing up and achieving her milestones. They also do fantastic home cooked food each day , I can say there is a very family oriented atmosphere . Having experienced all 3 rooms during my daughter time there I can say with assurance the teachers are very supportive and understandable that give us more confident that our child is safe and secure. would highly recommend best start Manukau to anybody who is looking for care.”

“Russian bakery!! Honey cake is blowing my mind…. Light and not as sweet as I thought… Pistachio cake is the one you have to try!! It’s basically dacquoise with crunchy pistachios instead of almond, cream filling.… I have tried chicken liver pie, it also delicious. Nice combination with liver and veg, well seasoned. In general everything is above my expectations. I will definitely come back soon for other choices of pie!!”

“Lovely intimate theatre. The quality of the play I saw there (Grand Horizons) was fantastic. The set design was incredible and the acting was practically professional level. The price of the ticket was very reasonable, and there is a bar that you can buy drinks and snacks from. A great night out, would highly recommend.”

“Was Girls and Boys worth getting stuck in hour long traffic - absolutely. Simplistic yet effective staging and lighting were transformative and poignant. The dialogue sharp and witty with the lead actress blazing through a series of difficult emotions and heavy themes with flexibility and tastefulness. I'm not normally one for a one woman show - but what a show it was!”

“Best Start Manuroa Road was our top choice for part time care after visiting 4 other facilities within our area. I loved how energetic, welcoming and informative the admin team were. “As a first time Mummy, you want to make sure your child is safe, cared for and loved. That's what Nurture + Bloom provided for us! My son started at 5months, they have transition visits which helped me and my son immensely. The Aunties (teachers) are amazing, genuine, loving, kind and caring. They really made our transition a smooth one. My son is now 15months and thriving! Thank you Aunties for the amazing work you do and for always going above and beyond for not just my boy but for me too! You can really feel God's grace and peace in this Centre. I highly recommend.”

“Mike and team are fantastic. Personable, interested, great advice and great gear. I salivate every time i check in as they have everything and more. Stuff I need and then stuff I want (there is a difference!). This is definitely not like a so called "surf" shop in a mall selling surf brand fashion clothing to teenagers, this is a specialised surf, foil, sail, SUP retailer. Highly recommended.”

“Update- this little place no longer operates as a cafe. But instead is a cute venue and pizzeria and bar. Hours can vary so best to check out when they are open for pizza and drinks. The best little cafe in Westmere. We went to a birthday party here and it had an awesome private tiny theatre and private garden. There was also the public cafe with delicious food and coffee.”

“Our choir had a wonderful experience performing at the Auckland Town Hall! The venue is beautiful, with amazing acoustics and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were helpful, and the hall’s historic charm made our performance even more special.”

“We had our end of season Hockey at Laserforce, and had 2 hours unlimited lasertag. It was amazing, the kids and adults all loved it. It's such a big space with an upstairs and downstairs. Everything is explained well and the staff are great. We were able to bring in outside foods and had Pizza Hut delivered from just around the road and brought in other drinks and foods. All and all I recommend this for a kids party or team building activity.”
