Her friendly personality makes everyone feel comfortable in the water, and she has a talent for explaining things clearly so even difficult techniques become simple to understand. Sue is also very supportive and motivating, always noticing progress, no matter how small, and inspiring confidence in her students. She creates a positive and safe environment, making swimming lessons enjoyable and exciting every time. ONE FIVE ONE Health Club

“Top line: Very good gym, great facilities. Limited space. Friendly staff, especially the manager(s) Pros: it’s quiet with sauna, pool, onsen, steam room, tennis courts, football, basketball, towels, shampoo, conditioner, iron, moisturiser, hair gel, etc Cons: found it challenging to get the initial viewing. Limited and older equipment, but it does the job! Not sure how often the sauna etc gets a deep clean. Given all the other facilities, surprised it doesn’t have a hair brush in the changing rooms, and either 1. A machine to fast dry swim wear or 2. Plastic bags to take wet swim wear home”

“Love this gym . The instructors know what they are doing and are super keen to help if needed . The equipment range is slowly getting better too . It’s definitely an older persons gym , I would say majority are 40 plus . But all the members are respectful with the equipment, wipe everything down and put things away . There are lots of fantastic classes as well.”

“Great swimming school. The teachers are mostly young teenagers but they're all amazing at connecting with the kids and at teaching. My 4yo loves his time there and is getting more and more confident in the water with every single lesson. The booking system and portal are really easy to use and make the whole process so seamless. Good car parking and facilities seem clean and well maintained.”

    Kmart Manukau

    ★★★★☆ 4
    Open

“Kmart Manukau, located in the bustling Manukau Supa Centa on Cavendish Drive, is the largest Kmart in New Zealand, spanning nearly 5,000 square metres. One of its most appealing features is its 24/7 operation, making it a convenient destination for shoppers at any hour, particularly shift workers and night owls. The store offers an impressive variety of affordable products, from homewares and furniture to clothing, toys, and electronics, making it a popular one-stop shop for families and individuals alike. Customers frequently praise the spacious layout, which generally allows for easy navigation even during busier periods. However, due to its popularity and large catchment area, Kmart Manukau can become especially busy on weekends and during sales, with long queues at checkouts and crowded aisles becoming more common. While many shoppers have noted helpful and friendly staff members, others have reported inconsistencies in customer service, ranging from difficulty locating assistance on the floor to mixed experiences at the checkout. Additionally, there are recurring concerns about store organisation—products can sometimes be misplaced, shelves untidy, and price tags either missing or not matching register prices. Cleanliness is another area where feedback varies, with some customers finding the store neat and well-kept, while others describe cluttered or messy conditions during peak times. One practical drawback mentioned in several reviews is the lack of accessible restroom facilities within the store, which can be inconvenient, particularly during late-night visits when other nearby amenities may be closed. Overall, Kmart Manukau remains a go-to shopping destination for many Aucklanders due to its size, range, and 24/7 convenience. However, customers planning to visit on weekends or during busy periods should be prepared for crowds and allow extra time for their shopping experience. While there are areas that could benefit from improved consistency, the store’s accessibility and product variety continue to attract a loyal customer base.”
