“Have lived just down the road for 2 years, so thought it was time to try out the local Italian joint. Grabbed a takeaway lasagne (made in less than 10 minutes), walked home (less than 5 minutes), and chowed down. Super moist, super yum! Will def go back and get Cabonara for my wife, plus will try out their canelloni :))”

“We had a delightful dinner at Siamese Doll recently. The flavours were amazing, portions were generous, the service was attentive without being overbearing. We had 2 entrees, 4 mains and a round of drinks for $60 a head, which I thought was great value. Great to see a busy restaurant on a Wednesday night! They also dealt with my daughter’s nut allergy seriously and respectfully. We’ll definitely be back again soon!”

“I love this place! Really good food and service. Prices are reasonable, too. There's not really a downside, but if you're seated in the separate booths in the hallway, you lose some of the atmosphere, but if you're looking for some privacy, that's the spot. 5 stars!!”

“A great little find off the main road on Parnell. It was very quiet which was nice for us as a family of 5. Had really generous sized meals packed with lots of flavour. The drinks were nice and cold I enjoyed the passion fruit mojito. Our children loved their meals just a bit large for them. The lunch specials were delicious and very lovely service from the hosts. Reasonable pricing for quality meals.”

The beautiful decor around the restaurant adds to the identity of the restaurant and the culture too. This restaurant deserves all the praise that they receive and will receive in the future. “A tiny jewel hides in lovely St Heliers neighborhood. Booking is super easy - online or phone call. Parking is easy as. Quality, freshness and quantity of dishes achieved a great balance. Clean and tidy - toilet too (and not wet). Try and you will keep coming back.”

“Had a Christmas dinner with work mates last night and it was fabulous. The kai was great, starting with a generous entree and pizza plus generous mains and desserts. We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. The restaurant was jam packed but that didn’t seem to phase the waiting team at all. Congratulations on a very busy but wonderful environment, service and kai!”

“Decided to have a late lunch at 9bowls after a bloody hot day at work. I've ordered the Korean Fried Chicken set and it was delicious! The staffs was very attentive and caring, making sure I am well sorted. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy and breathes good vibes. “Family wanted pizza for dinner. We tried the Pizzeria tonight for the first time. 3 ordered: Mr Wolf Pizza; Pizza el Pollo; and Margarita pizzas. All of the pizzas were beautifully presented, light crispy base, and all flavours were delicious. Quality pizza, leagues above dominoes, would recommend and will definitely be going there on a regular basis”

“Had the best Bacon and Eggs in any cafe ever and I travel across Auckland a lot. Toast and poached eggs were perfect and bacon was amazing. Flat white was great too! Thoroughly recommend.”

“I only order salmon and avocado sushi. Came here for the first time 2 days ago and the workers were very friendly and accommodated my request for a newly made pack of sushi without the wasabi and ginger in it (allergies). They did not hesitate to make a new pack and they smiled and were attentive to me and other customers the whole time. The sushi itself contained a lot of salmon compared to St Pierre's. I will definitely be back.”

“I used to visit here for my lunch. Now I don't have much time for my lunch so I ordered from ubereat. Food was always tasty with good portion. Ubereat delivered the food to my house was super fast, within 30 minutes after I placed the order. Food was still hot when I received. I ordered grilled pork with yellow rice, which was so amazing. Pork was well marinated. Highly recommend”

“If I could give more than 5 stars I would! A few years ago I was pregnant,tired and incredibly hungry and all the restaurants were actually closing their doors, including vino. My poor husband ran up just as you were closing the doors and asked if you had anything spare he could buy for me quickly. Without hesitation you actually turned your ovens back on,chatted to my husband about life,and made me a double portion of pasta FREE of charge and said it was a gift for us and our first baby. I genuinely cried at how generous you were to a total stranger. Don’t know if you remember this at all,but it’s always stuck with us! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.”

“Holy!!!! A coast hidden gem!! Went for dinner, started with the cheese and garlic bread, must be home made dough because I could not get enough of it, then had the tarragon chicken, I’ve been dreaming about it ever since, absolutely mouth watering. staff were absolutely amazing, the smiles they give, you cannot help to smile. Decided to come back to try their breakfast today and what can’t they do, coffee 10/10 and I had the smashed avocado, would go back every morning if I could. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!!”
