“Good experience. Staff are friendly and helpful. Short walk to the city and lots of good choices / places to eat. Had dinner at Prego which was less than 10 minutes away and the meal was excellent in every way.”

“This is a great hostel even for longer time stays! I stayed here for more than 2 months myself and don’t have anything to complain about. The staff is really nice. James the receptionist helped me a lot with my visa application and finding a good fitness studio in Auckland downtown. Very friendly, young and happy hostel guests stay here and still it’s quite in the nights even in 8 bed dorms. Would stay here again any time :)”

“These guys helped us out of a bind when our other accommodation cancelled our booking. They were friendly to deal with. The location being directly beside Spark Arena was really good - a very short walk home after Morgan Wallen. The rooms are pretty standard but the tiled bathroom was excellent. The water pressure was very good. Overall a good place to stay if you're simply using it as a base for a city trip, it's a shame the bar is currently closed.”

“Really enjoyed this place. Lovely staff, very clean. Felt like a hotel but with hostel amenities as well like laundry and a big shared kitchen. Surrounding neighborhood is a vibrant South Asian community of spice shops, dress shops, and jewelers. Countdown (large chain grocery store), and Kmart are one block away in an indoor mall with lots of shops and food. Good home base to explore Auckland from.”

“This is a unforgettable motel for me, and it is my first stop of my honeymoon at newzealand. Owner help us to solve the parking issue, he is busy but call his son to help me know how to parking at in downtown, also we have clean and Spacious room, it is a wonderful memory for me and my wife.”

“We are just staying with our three kids at this unique and lovely place. The hosts are more than kind and just very polite and caring. We admire the food, the animals and the stay overall. Kids enjoy the animals, especially the ponie rides and the squad rides. But also the hot tube. We have no car with us so it’s hard to judge the location itself but as we’ve been taken around by the hosts we can say it’s just beautiful around as well. We definitely recommend to come here. “It's within walking distance of Eastern Beach and the supermarket. There's a bakery, fish and chips shop, and convenience store across the street, which is convenient. The interior is very clean and has everything you need. I had a comfortable stay. Even without a car, you can easily get to the city by bus or train. (The bus stop is about 30 seconds away.)”

The prices can vary depending on the customer it would attract , couples family's or a room for the night long term to medium or just overnight stays. Not a high end Htotel/motel but reasonable clean and accomadating if your not fussy about your surroundings.”

“My first welcome to New Zealand. Run by a very friendly and helpful family. I stayed in a nice and clean recently refurbished room with top notch facilities including tea/coffee making facilities, a microwave, fridge, fast WiFi and a good TV with Sky. Very comfortable bed and an impressive shower. The hotel itself is in a perfect location on a good accessible main road and it has plenty of parking. Lots of places to eat nearby and a five minute walk from the train in to the city which itself only takes 15 minutes. Very happy with my stay.”

“I stayed at Park Ave Residence as a long term tenant and I must say my stay there was wonderful. The staff were friendly, warm and was always available. The facilities was well looked after by the cleaning staff who did a wonderful job. Some tenants needed to learn how to clean up after themselves but apart from that I would recommend Park Ave Residence anytime. It was handy to town and public transport and the view from the room I was in was awesome. I was is Rm 312. If ever I travel back to Auckland and need a place to stay I will be calling Park Ave Residence.”

This place helps out people in need and it's definitely not a boring time here lol people tend to keep to themselves but also there's a community here too. The owner Brad is very welcoming and this place helps people stay off the streets so definitely recommend for short or long term stays.”

“Lively friendly family iwned and run motel. Made us feel very welcome. Lovely clean rooms setup like home away from home. Each room had coffee, milk, tea and sugar. Free wifi, freeview and sky tv. Laundry services onsite ..were a little bit pricey but hey its a motel. Owners were friendly and accomidating.”

“Our room was really nice and cozy, came with nice amenities like a stovetop, heat pump, microwave, toaster, kettle. Room was really clean, the bathroom was small but nice and the bedroom was cozy. We had a problem with the stovetop, we couldn't seem to get it to work properly but this could've just been our own error instead of the stovetop being broken. Maybe check to see if you can get the stovetop working if you're planning on cooking while you stay, we resorted to the microwave which worked well. Reception staff was really friendly, we would stay here again. Also right across the street from the grocery store which makes things way easier.”
