We stayed in The Old Railway Cabin. What an absolutely amazing place to be! So romantic and private. All organic body wash (for the romantic candle lit outdoor bath!) soaps, dish washing liquid etc. Everything is so rustic. Fresh flowers on the table and a delicious complimentary homemade breakfast! I couldn't recommend Hunua Homestead enough. The hosts Glenn and Mark were the friendliest most approachable hosts. Even came out to show us the animals in the morning and have a nice chat and some directions to the Clevedon markets. Can't thank these guys enough for the magical night we were able to have because of our magical surroundings.

From the initial communication with Glenn (and his offer for a Christmas dinner, because all restaurants were closed), to a very nice cozy room with a comfy bed, to all the great recommendations about places and attractions in the Hunua area (and NZ in general), we had an absolutely amazing experience at Hunua Homestead! Glenn and Mark were such amazing hosts, that we can't thank them enough for starting our NZ experience on a such positive note. This was by far out best B&B experience!
