   First time here and came after seeing the reviews. It absolutely didn't disappoint. Went for the seafood tartare to start which was really beautifully flavoured with hints of corriander and so fresh. Then went for one of the Wagyu scotch options. Had it medium rare upon recommendation from our lovely waitress. It was possibly one of the most beautifully flavoured tender pieces of steak ever. Both of us went for the same steak. If I come again I'll probably go for a few more side orders, went for the creamed spinach which was lovely. Will definitely return! Highly recommend and I am very fussy!

   I pop here for lunch pretty often — their two-course deal with a glass of wine for $45 is great value. The food’s consistently good and service is quick, perfect for a workday break. Thinking of bringing the whānau for dinner next time — they’ve got a solid steak range, even wagyu from NZ, Australia, and Japan. I could smash a 1.1kg tomahawk steak on my own tbh.

   Been there a few times before and enjoyed the food. Now standard has dropped massively, ordered Medium Rare and got Well Done burnt steak. One of the waiter looks like having a really bad day. Good luck in this economy.

   We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here, last night. The food, the service and the atmosphere were top notch. They made us a ‘dessert’ plate, to wish us for our anniversary. Which we really appreciated. Hubby had the pork belly, I had the fish. The desserts were yummy too. Highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. Thank you.

   Fairly average. I was expecting much better. We waited 45 minutes for our 2 steaks. The food was ok, but not worth $60 for a steak, 4 potato’s and 1 tomato. I’ve cooked better at home. From the reviews, their website and social media and for the price I was expecting A LOT better.

   This has to be the best steak restaurant in Auckland. We had a perfectly cooked scotch filled that was so tender and perfectly prepared. Sides of crumbled cauliflower and rocket salad went well with our steak. We finished with a cheeseboard for two, which was beautifully presented and generous. Top class restaurant well worth visiting.

   If you'e wanting to treat yourself to a decent steak, this is the place for you! The cocktails, sides, appetizers and desserts also didn't disappoint. If you don't feel like sitting in the main restaurant you can go to the back and sit near the bar for a more low-key vibe. The service was exceptional, especially in terms of education about the right kind of steak to choose based on your preferences. The steaks are on display for reference. The staff was friendly & kind and that also made for a good experience! I highly recommend getting a Tomahawk cut if you feel like going all out!
