Really good venue, for a top quality gig, sound was good, ambience even better.. Excellent staff meant it was a good night for all.. highly recommended.
Great venue for small gigs but they need to reduce their max ticket capacity as we struggled to get a good view of the stage all night due to the amount of people packed into the room and people constantly moving in front of you.

Good sized venue. I've only been there for gigs and it seems to have a decent set up. Small bar and toilets but does the job. Some solid shows there!
Saw Paige at an all ages event with our 2 kids 20 & 17 years. We sat at the very back and still had great views from our seats overlooking the standing crowd. A coat room was helpful for the raincoats and a large but simply supplied bar with lovely staff privided drinks without an overcrowded wait. An iconic venue still presenting great artists never fails. A highlight was the little 10 year old grooving away next to us with her dad!!
Had a fun night with my girls for an Emo night.Was hot and small for the amount of people that were there but suitable
Great vibe will be back for another night of dancing sometime
Galatos is a great venue in Auckland for bands to play at. It fits up to 400 people and has all the gear you need inhouse (eg PA, mixing desk, microphones, and foldbacks etc). Andrea and Waka are also great hosts. An ofcourse if you happen to need anything extra, you can always get it from us at the rock factory - we know the venue well and have added lighting, backline and DJ gear as needed for many events there.
Went to my first Like a Storm and Black Smoke Trigger gig here in March 2020. Was a great night. Will definitely go back for another gig.
First time there and I loved it. Felt very similar to a great tiny metal bar back home. Great atmosphere, facilities, sound quality and friendly staff.
