“Absolutely cannot fault the service we received here! I emailed earlier in the week to enquire about the duration of a sale and they responded promptly. We went in today to purchase three car seats in order to fit three across in our vehicle. Jen served us and went absolutely above and beyond. She helped us to pick the right seats, talking us through pros and cons of a few seats, she then helped us to trial the fit for the three and then properly install all of them. All this on a stinking hot day, while being lovely to our two preschoolers. Thank you Jen for your amazing service, and thank you Babies NZ for your range of affordable, high quality carseats that enabled us to solve our three across dilemma without compromising on safety or having to remortgage the house! Highly, highly recommend!”

“Great ELC. Highly recommended. I chose this centre because of the amazing staff/ kaiakos in the under 2yrs old room. I could see immediately that the care they give the children is quality and genuine. Staff encouraged transitional visits until I was comfortable. The centre is always clean. My child is always happy to attend. Great outdoor area for the babies with sandpit and covered deck, so they aren't stuck inside all day or sharing with the older kids. No screens in the under 2yrs room - Was a positive for me. The Kaiako's always set up fun new activities and I love that they do messy play activities even with the little ones.”

“HOTCAKES & THE GRILL - Recommended dishes here. Recommend going when it is less busier as the service was top notch on Monday brunch, which was a big contrast to Saturday brunch where we weren't attended to. I think this is reflected in some of the reviews. Today we had Top notch service! They had fire places nearby tables which made it nice and warm on a chilly morning. Food portions were huge and we left feeling very satisfied! I would say one of the top brunch spots in Auckland CBD!”

We first discovered Joe’s Garage in Queenstown and instantly fell in love — the food, the layout, the vibe… everything was perfect. But the real star for us was the pancakes, which our daughter adored. For a whole year she talked about them and couldn’t wait to go back as we were from Auckland. So when we found out there was a Joe’s Garage in Silverdale, we were thrilled — even though we live all the way in Henderson, we were more than happy to make the trip. We finally arrived, excited and ready… only to learn that the famous pancakes are only served before 5pm, and we had arrived at 6:30pm. Our daughter was devastated, and honestly, so were we. But this is where the magic happened. Our wonderful server Tyra (who was also managing that evening) could see how much it meant to our daughter. We politely asked if there was any chance the chef might be able to make an exception. Instead of giving us a flat no, Tyra said, “Let me see what I can do.” She went to speak with the kitchen team, and came back with the most heartwarming news — their chef Hunter was willing to make a fresh batch of pancakes from scratch, just for our daughter. We were genuinely moved. This wasn’t standard service — this was above and beyond. Tyra’s kindness, and Hunter’s willingness to go out of his way, created a moment our family will never forget. Because of this experience, Joe’s Garage will forever have a special place in our hearts. Wherever we see a Joe’s Garage in the world, we’ll be loyal supporters — and our daughter will too. “Awesome centre with super friendly and amazing teachers. Centre Manager Shetal always has a huge smile on her face and always welcoming. She has been awesome to deal with especially with changing timetables every week(due to shift work), always quick to clarify any questions we’ve had. My children enjoy going and always have an amazing time! Overall a great place and would definitely recommend it!”

“Our son started at lollipops Lynfield a month before he turned one. It’s a dreadful experience for any parent when they first drop off their kid but the team at Lollipops Lynfield was so understanding and kind and helped with this transition in a amazingly kind and thoughtful way-we can’t speak more highly of them. A year later -Our son loves going here and we trust the team and couldn’t ask for more.”

“BestStart Mt Eden consistently delight me with the kind, nurturing and enriching environment Ludi and her team create for the children in their care across both Pipi and Paua. Both my children have attended both Pipi (under 2's) and Paua (Over 2's) and my little one is still at Paua. The team work really hard to create a safe and fun environment that inspires curiosity and offers plenty of stimulus for creative young minds. Can't speak more highly of Ludi and her team - they're straight up awesome.”

“We have bought two floor beds from KitSmart. Very good quality and reasonable price. Honestly, floor beds work much better than the crib if you want to get some sleep in their younger ages when they just need you around. Our toddler barely slept in the crib and we didn’t bother to try to use it for our 2nd.”

“This is a nice community center where I used to enroll my kids to learn Arabic every Sunday. The play area next to the center is amazing as well. There is a bus stop by the entrance of the center which makes it very easy for people to commute to the center.”

“We changed to Junior Junction a few months ago from My Kindy and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our 2 year old settled in quickly and is thriving. The staff are so friendly, there is no staff turnover, and our daughter is happy and learning everyday. We couldn't recommend this centre more.”

“Love this gym . The instructors know what they are doing and are super keen to help if needed . The equipment range is slowly getting better too . It’s definitely an older persons gym , I would say majority are 40 plus . But all the members are respectful with the equipment, wipe everything down and put things away . There are lots of fantastic classes as well.”

“I love reading books and this is a store with… BOOKS! Of course I’m going to give it five stars. No, but really not every book store is created equally and some can be quite bad, but this one has basically all the books you need. They’re grouped in categories to make it easier to find the one you want. When I came here to buy a book for someone, I asked a staff member where I could find it and they were really helpful, even explaining the difference between the original version and a young adults version of the book. Apart from books they also have a lot of other things like stationary, games and toys. It’s a great store for getting ideas for presents because it has such a variety of things.”
