You wll have huge support from not only teachers but from manager and adminstrator too. These team is lovely and energitic. You can keep calm and stressfree after leaving your child here. “Hands down, the best childcare centre in Auckland. Large format, heaps of parking, amazing, experienced teachers who connect with your child and constantly go above and beyond. From the moment you step in the centre, you're greeted with a smile and the vibe is very comforting and calm. The best thing about this centre is they have dedicated, separate rooms for ALL age groups so children under 1 have 1 room, children between 1 and 2 have a separate room and vice versa. This enables children to get the absolute best environment to learn at their own pace and flourish. There are 5 separate rooms for children and each one is heavily equipped to provide the best possible care for your child. Highly recommended!”

“Great ELC. Highly recommended. I chose this centre because of the amazing staff/ kaiakos in the under 2yrs old room. I could see immediately that the care they give the children is quality and genuine. Staff encouraged transitional visits until I was comfortable. The centre is always clean. My child is always happy to attend. Great outdoor area for the babies with sandpit and covered deck, so they aren't stuck inside all day or sharing with the older kids. No screens in the under 2yrs room - Was a positive for me. The Kaiako's always set up fun new activities and I love that they do messy play activities even with the little ones.”

“It’s my daughter’s first day but the visit is the best visit I have had at a daycare I love the way they do things at the centre. The teachers/reception seem so genuinely friendly and a small detail that I absolutely appreciate is her name was already on the slot where she put the bag she has been to another daycare, didn’t have as much of a good experience as we did here at piwaka so team you guys impressed a mother who is anxious about all this stuff ! “I visited with a friend of mine looking for a daycare close to their work. I loved the natural focus on the centre. Earthy colour scheme in the large classrooms, and a huge outdoor area, even a bush walk for the children to enjoy. Some of the preschool children had just pulled some radishes out of the garden and were proudly showing us what they had grown. The staff and management were friendly and professional, and to my delight, there was even a teacher who taught my son in a neighbouring daycare 6 years ago, whom we thought of highly back when my son was at daycare. There were also two male teachers, which is excellent as they are so hard to find in ECE and super valuable, especially if you have a boy. I would thoroughly recommend this daycare!”

Recommend going when it is less busier as the service was top notch on Monday brunch, which was a big contrast to Saturday brunch where we weren't attended to. I think this is reflected in some of the reviews. Today we had Top notch service! They had fire places nearby tables which made it nice and warm on a chilly morning. Food portions were huge and we left feeling very satisfied! I would say one of the top brunch spots in Auckland CBD!”

We first discovered Joe’s Garage in Queenstown and instantly fell in love — the food, the layout, the vibe… everything was perfect. But the real star for us was the pancakes, which our daughter adored. For a whole year she talked about them and couldn’t wait to go back as we were from Auckland. So when we found out there was a Joe’s Garage in Silverdale, we were thrilled — even though we live all the way in Henderson, we were more than happy to make the trip. We finally arrived, excited and ready… only to learn that the famous pancakes are only served before 5pm, and we had arrived at 6:30pm. Our daughter was devastated, and honestly, so were we. But this is where the magic happened. Our wonderful server Tyra (who was also managing that evening) could see how much it meant to our daughter. We politely asked if there was any chance the chef might be able to make an exception. Instead of giving us a flat no, Tyra said, “Let me see what I can do.” She went to speak with the kitchen team, and came back with the most heartwarming news — their chef Hunter was willing to make a fresh batch of pancakes from scratch, just for our daughter. We were genuinely moved. This wasn’t standard service — this was above and beyond. Tyra’s kindness, and Hunter’s willingness to go out of his way, created a moment our family will never forget. Because of this experience, Joe’s Garage will forever have a special place in our hearts. Wherever we see a Joe’s Garage in the world, we’ll be loyal supporters — and our daughter will too. “Awesome centre with super friendly and amazing teachers. Centre Manager Shetal always has a huge smile on her face and always welcoming. She has been awesome to deal with especially with changing timetables every week(due to shift work), always quick to clarify any questions we’ve had. “Our son started at lollipops Lynfield a month before he turned one. It’s a dreadful experience for any parent when they first drop off their kid but the team at Lollipops Lynfield was so understanding and kind and helped with this transition in a amazingly kind and thoughtful way-we can’t speak more highly of them. A year later -Our son loves going here and we trust the team and couldn’t ask for more.”

“BestStart Mt Eden consistently delight me with the kind, nurturing and enriching environment Ludi and her team create for the children in their care across both Pipi and Paua. Both my children have attended both Pipi (under 2's) and Paua (Over 2's) and my little one is still at Paua. The team work really hard to create a safe and fun environment that inspires curiosity and offers plenty of stimulus for creative young minds. Can't speak more highly of Ludi and her team - they're straight up awesome.”

“We have bought two floor beds from KitSmart. Very good quality and reasonable price. Honestly, floor beds work much better than the crib if you want to get some sleep in their younger ages when they just need you around. Our toddler barely slept in the crib and we didn’t bother to try to use it for our 2nd.”

“We had our daughter start at Lollipops when she was around one. We love this place and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a loving daycare for their children. The teachers have been there for a long time and are all beautiful women who cares so much for the children. They do weekly music classes, has a super fun outdoor play space which they use daily and my daughter has learned so much from mat time. They also make beautiful, healthy home cooked meals which is amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.”

“This is a nice community center where I used to enroll my kids to learn Arabic every Sunday. The play area next to the center is amazing as well. There is a bus stop by the entrance of the center which makes it very easy for people to commute to the center.”

“We changed to Junior Junction a few months ago from My Kindy and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Our 2 year old settled in quickly and is thriving. The staff are so friendly, there is no staff turnover, and our daughter is happy and learning everyday. We couldn't recommend this centre more.”
