   My son has been attending this daycare for over a year now and he absolutely loves it. The staff are amazing and really care for him and his holistic development. I absolutely trust the staff and know that he is safe and genuinely cared for. He is always so excited to come in and has created such amazing friendships.

   I reached out to the centre multiple times after discovering that my child was not safe there, but they did absolutely nothing to address the situation. The worst moment was witnessing other children hitting my son on the forehead while he was fast asleep — and this happened in the common play area, not even in the designated sleeping room. The teachers were nearby, laughing and chatting instead of intervening. The incident left me in shock and caused severe stress; my son even developed a high fever afterward. My son couldn’t sleep for nearly a week because he was so terrified. When I requested to see the camera footage, I was told there were no security cameras in the centre. If you value your child’s emotional well-being and safety, I strongly advise you to stay away from this place. No family should have to experience what we went through.

   We are very happy with our baby’s experience at Best start. The teachers are kind, caring, and truly supportive, especially during the settling-in period. Our little one is slowly gaining confidence and seems to enjoy the new environment each day. We feel reassured knowing they are in such nurturing hands.    We have been to 2 other centers and my child was so unhappy. Within the first week we saw a huge difference and he loved it at bs great north road. The teachers all made a huge effort to make sure he felt as though he had a place there and was safe. Now even on the weekends he's asking to go to school.

   I actually have no idea where to start as this daycare has caused my sister (who’s son used to attend this daycare) and the rest of my extended family so much grief. I would highly recommend you do your research on this daycare throughly and look into the few bad reviews they already have before you decide to take you child here. Teachers are judgemental and assume things without knowing your situation and our beautiful nephew would come home numerous times very hungry and had lost weight since attending this childcare centre. We have pulled our nephew out of this childcare centre and he’s been such a happy boy since.
