   Our Daughter has started Primary school. We are very proud that BestStart has helped paved the way and prepare her for this path.    Finally I see others have left some negative comments about this place…… when I was looking for a day care / kindergarten for my child coming up 2 years ago, I came in to visit here. They were so unprofessional , they told me I have 5 minutes to check if I like the place and I could sign her up, if I needed to see more. How can a family make a decision like what day care to enrol at in 5 mins? Prices are exorbitant here! On the positive, the facility is nice and new.

   Very clean, tidy and spacious. Has a good vibe and very welcoming. Nice play area and lot of activities outside and engaging toys inside. Different rooms for different ages which is excellent. However at present it has no centre manager as such I find the staff not so motivated perhaps. I have visited several times at different times and see children just left on their own to play and the staff who are lovely but are busy attending to the tasks on hand such as cleaning or tidying up. One staff should be free to engage kids inside with activities like I have seen at other centres. One staff was alone and struggling with over 10, 2 year olds outside. As such I found safety questionable. As kids were running over each other. The kids looked disengaged and confused. There should be indoor activities to engage and attract the little ones inside and 2 staff should be inside. In the afternoons after 4pm it’s maniac unfortunately. Staff are busy tidying up to close the centre. Kids are just tumbling about and then all cramped in one room with mixed ages and staff occupied with cleaning and tidying up task. Overall a decent centre but just need to review these issues to become great. Thanks

   The centre has lovely spacious laid out rooms for every age group with learning toys and activities that are best suited for their development. It has a very large outdoor area that's sectioned off separating the babies and toddlers so each age group has a playground that is suitable for them. I love that the outdoor area is fenced well and has a sun shade for when days get too hot. The entire place is clean and tidy and they also have an app you can download that the daycare can post your child's learning and progress privately (and/or publicly in the community posts if you consent to that). Each and every staff member there are extremely kind, warm hearted and bubbly so they get along well with not only the children but also the parents and treat us like family. Everytime I walk through the doors I feel so welcomed and look forward to my son's day here! The Admin/Receptionist Lynia (I'm so sorry if I misspelt it) is the highlight of the daycare and she makes an effort to remember every parent and child's name so she can greet us in a personal manner. She also goes above and beyond to make sure we understand everything we need to before enrolling and makes the whole process smooth and easy. I feel so assured to leave my baby here and know that he's in safe hands and will genuinely enjoy his time there whilst developing all the necessary skills to progress with his age group. His favourite place so far is the sandpit in the outdoor area of the 1 year old room! I can't wait to see him migrate to the older toddlers room and get to play in their outdoor area with a bigger playground, I just know he'll love it. This is my son's second daycare but if anyone asks me, I would highly recommend BestStart Murphy's Park to send your little ones. If I could rate it 100 I would!

   Hands down, the best childcare centre in Auckland. Large format, heaps of parking, amazing, experienced teachers who connect with your child and constantly go above and beyond. From the moment you step in the centre, you're greeted with a smile and the vibe is very comforting and calm. The best thing about this centre is they have dedicated, separate rooms for ALL age groups so children under 1 have 1 room, children between 1 and 2 have a separate room and vice versa. This enables children to get the absolute best environment to learn at their own pace and flourish. There are 5 separate rooms for children and each one is heavily equipped to provide the best possible care for your child. Highly recommended!
