“I can't believe I haven't been here before as I live just down the road. Last time I was in here it was still Conch Records... Ate there for the first time with a friend who works in hospo and we were both super impressed with the tacos. Good craft beer, lots of options and (for Ponsonby) not too devastatingly expensive. Will definitely be back.”
“I am definitely saving this on my restaurant list because every single piece of what we had was amazing. The staff were really nice and helpful from explaining the menu, each dish, how their smoking system works, and offering to open some of the blinds to cool our seating area down. Do expect to leave with quite a large bill, but that's the standard price to pay for good bbq around here.”
“Lunch special sooo good at Khu Khu ....just order one of everything”
“Such a nice atmosphere - feels like something straight out of Europe. We definitely don’t have many places like this in NZ. Food was amazing, so much flavour and everyone who served us was so friendly and kind. We will 100% be back and will recommend this to all our friends and family.”
“Very good bakery actually my favourite always has the nicest mince and cheese pies fresh and warm the food 10/10”
“What a find. Recently reopened. Coffee is great. They have decaf and tastes like coffee!. Lovely sweet pastries and cakes. Pet friendly! Tables under the trees for perfect relaxed afternoon coffee. The pizza oven is looking good. Watch this space. Open 7 days.”
“Consistently awesome! Im from Wellington and Ristretto is my go-to Auckland Cafe with my retired parents. The food is awesome, the people are awesomely friendly and parking around the back is plentiful. Helpful tip - try the French Toast... sooo nice.”
“The steak n cheese pie was soooo good, buttery flaky pastry, chunks of beef, gravy perfect consistency. Friendly service. 1st thing I do when arriving from Australia is have a bakery pie, these guys did not disappoint”
“Good food and drinks combined with class location and service. Especially on a good sunny day, the cornered location offers a nice view on the beach and passers-by’s. I had the Caesar salad. I don’t think 8 dollars extra for a few chicken strips is justified, but since this is an upscale establishment, I’ll take it.”
“Ordered for the first time today, absolutely enjoyed the beautiful food! First island shop I've tasted that make high quality delicious food, made with love. Bonus Customer service was on point Thanks guys! Will definitely be back again.”
“Great for a different dessert with the kids - small bowls are big enough to share. Staff are super-friendly and fun decor.”
“Amazing restaurant, totally recommend! I came to this restaurant earlier this year and oh my was it amazing! First of all the atmosphere is very clean and well cared for, and the staff were very polite and good at their job. The food tasted amazing, especially the syrup chicken! The pasta also tasted great. The only complaint I have is that the wait was too long for the food! Overall please give this restaurant a try, it's worth it!”
“We ordered off their pizza menu that they do on Friday nights. Awesome staff and beautiful food. Highly recommend!!”
“Such good coffee. There isn't much seating space but I still go there because the cabinet food and the coffee is great quality.”
“This place is no longer Williams Eatery - it’s now Bowler! They offer a fantastic selection of bowls, letting you choose from chicken, beef, or salmon, with bases of either brown rice, salad, or a mix of both. There are plenty of healthy options to enjoy here. I visited Bowler with my colleagues to check out the new spot, and it didn’t disappoint. The experience was wonderful! The staff were friendly and personally called out our names from the counter when our bowls were ready. It got quite busy during lunchtime, but at $17.90 per bowl, the price felt reasonable and well worth it. So far, I’ve tried the Free-Range Chicken Bowl (No. 1) and the Mt. Cook Salmon Bowl (No. 4). Both were absolutely delicious! The brown rice base is perfect if you’re looking for a more filling meal. The bowls focus on highlighting the natural flavours of the ingredients, with no heavy sauces - just fresh, wholesome goodness. I enjoyed Williams, and now I am loving Bowler too. I’ll definitely be coming here more often for lunch. Highly recommended!”
“Great place to relax & catch-up with friends or for a quick stop to grab some lunch on the run. Great variety of food options.”
“just tried the new special, Egg Benedict on Cheese Scone!!! The flavour was so good and the price was fair. The music was so relaxing as well and made me stay here for way longer than i expected. Workers were also really funny and nice to talk to! Definitely recommend”
“Definitely the best place to have brunch. Lovely staff, excellent food, and high quality. I recommend it and will be back!”
“Best place in Milford. Two plates of breakfast perfection. The burger was juicy, towering masterpiece with crispy onion rings, while the avocado toast with scrambled eggs was fresh and delicious. Great coffee too.”
“I really rate this cafe. Epic coffee at a good price and the owner was really friendly. Thank you kind sir! Hamish Dorrington Kakapo Business Sales”
“Amazing coffee with the best staff, my partner and I go here most days before work.”
“Stopped here to get a slice, choose a white chocolate caramel slice & a mixed berry muffin. Both were so delicious! Best keto sweet treats I have tasted! Will definitely return next time I'm in Manukau city. Awesome friendly service, very clean.”
“Quiet little coffee shop with yummy breakfast food and sandwiches. We had French toast with banana and the apple crepe! Also enjoyed the flat white and a berry banana smoothie with a carrot cake to go!”
“A bit upmarket. Quiet and the food was delicious & well presented. It was a bit cold, but after talking to the staff, they turned the temperature up a bit, which was great. Staff were fantastic and good parking right outside. Quite pricey, but we were there on a deal, which made it good value.”
“Le Paris is a hidden gem!!! Tried Crepe Mademoiselle this morning and absolutely loved it! Will definitely come back again!”
“Loved the chef's special! The food was fresh and tasty. The Turkish coffee is quite intense, so if you're into strong expressos, you'll enjoy it.”
“We lovd it. Excellent experience. Remember us a travel in Edinburgh! Why the scottish people always eat nachos? We like it!”
“Cute small japanese restaurant. The restaurant is clean and has a comfortable athmosphere. The staff is very nice and helpful. They seem to like working there and do a lot for the positive vibe. What I've ordered so far: Takoyaki - new favourite dish at Coo's, I just had it today and it was so creamy and delicious! Gyoza - absolutely amazing, especially with some soy sauce. Can 100% recommend this as a starter or to have with a drink. Katsu don (Pork) - was amazing, it could do with some extra tonkatsu sauce for the rice but was still very (!) good. Ikageso - delish little calamaries. Nothing more, nothing less. Karaage don - the karaage was nice and juicy. I am not yet sure how it compares to the chicken katsu don but can recommend. Eel don - beautifully presented and I loved it, but I like eel in general, so if you are not big on fish, I would not recommend this. Umeshu - nicely presented and tasty, reminded me of some dried plums I've had back in europe”
“I was passing by looking for a coffee and found this place. It’s really busy with all of the paraphernalia but gives the place its charm. They had 6 different flavours of red bush tea which I do love but $14 per 100g. Coffee was average but enjoyed a free tea while I waited.”
