“The management team at Wellington Macpac with a particular call out to Liv, are exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I had an issue with a pair of boots purchased from another Macpac (Taupo) and while they were less than helpful with the issue, Liv scooped it up and fully resolved it for me when it was really not their issue. I was blown away by the willingness to help and ongoing care to get the issue resolved. Highly recommend.”

“Animals are well taken care of and healthy. Workers are proactively helpful and understand the animals in their shop. I've purchased everything from aquariums and axolotls to guinea pigs there and each person understands and advises the owner correctly. I've even seen a denial of sale with a worker concerned over the health and wellbeing of an animal there. Highly recommended. “Lovely store. Well laid out, spacious, good lighting, good range of products, friendly staff. We are just visiting the area for a short time so could not buy much but my daughter was pleased to find VerMints (the ginger mint flavour, which I was first introduced to by a friend in the US and they can be hard to find in NZ), coconut water, and Proper Crisps corn chips (which can be hard to find in our home town). We also got some Clipper tea advent calendars for her and her sister later this year.”

“Went here for the first time recently and we’ll definitely be back soon. My wife got the cheeseburger and I had the Beyond Meat burger and both were excellent along with the curly fries. The bagels looked great so will try these next time. Great outlook over the harbour and I love the bean bags for sitting in the sun or the shade of the trees.”

She listened to my many queries and was patient, expressing her knowledge and expertise about different options and a range of products. A few days later I was greeted by Ollie who expressed himself on an exceptional level, providing brilliant ideas and showing depth above his years. Both of these individuals went above and beyond and I feel their attitude and genuineness as young promising human beings should be noted for further development of an example of exemplary service. It was a breath of fresh air and in turn, I purchased exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't for either of them, I would likely have not purchased anything at all. A+”
