We love shopping here. The staff are so friendly. Shelly, Terry and Rita on the seafood department and Kay and Rosa at the checkout always make us feel so welcome.
Visited deli/bakery today as part of our MW shopping experience. The one particular gorgonzola cheese we wanted had a Best Buy just seven days later. On enquiry about price & proximity of best buy date were curtly informed price only reduced TWO days before expiry day & that waw the rules. There was no more of this particular cheese available to purchase. $11.95 in which to eat old cheese before price reduction is quite frankly ridiculous Moore Wilson. Get a grip & invest in training staff how to deal with customers in an appropriate & user friendly manner.
Not as good as the other location - less variety & less friendly staff, but I appreciate that it is closer to my home so I tend to go once a week. The team working here come across as rude & bothered, which is always disappointing.
Great range of products. One of the few places that stocks the amazing Rocket Fuel sauce. Great fresh fish too
Always a good shopping destination but they seem to have reduced the range of products they stock in this branch recently, so if you want the full Moore Wilson's experience you really need to visit the main branch in College St
I always come away from MW feeling it could be so much more ,the bakery selection has hardly changed in 20 years,so essentially a wholesaler but with more potential for different quality foods ,it is an Oasis in a desert of boring food shops . Yesterday was not good, told off by cashier because I pointed out incorrect pricing on a bottled cold drink promo pricing. Sure it was late but I arrived at 4.35pm hardly my fault she had had a long day and her colleague had started the transaction incorrectly. I let it go but felt quite offended, I had just spent over $200 and did not expect attitude. Bit unusual in the decades that I have shopped here can say this might be the 2nd time ever that I have had attitude. Definitely a goto place to relieve the supermarket boredom !!
A retail experience (good or bad) is more about the people you interact with rather than the product you buy. This store has great staff many of them are so young and blend in well with the longer serving staff. A great environment to shop in. Well done MW and your management team
