   If you're local you know that it is not possible to find everything that you need in one place on Kapiti. While on a pricey side, C.O. has its own specialities which are hard to replace. This is my go-to place for no-nasties-added food for my baby, some rare veges like kohlrabi, ripe bananas (during that season they are very green in Pac'n'Save), Zany Zeus ricotta and yoghurt. They also have a good range of hygiene and cleaning products that are environment-friendly. Staff is very friendly which is another perk of the place.

   Love this shop, we supplement our groceries here, tte fruit and veges are better and nicer, good to know they are locally and organically grown. Tte wine is nice too.

   Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Great range of products. However despite these positives Commonsense needs to demand that their suppliers stop using plastic containers, especially for fruits, berries, salad mixes etc and start supplying refill stations for dishwash liquid, laundry liquid etc.
