“We cannot thank Tracy from Cake and Bake Kiwi for the most incredible cake made for our Mid Winter Christmas. So full of fruit beautifully decorated and lovely and moist. Our guests ( and staff) were asking for second helpings so we didn't even get to take a good photo for Tracy. With hot mulled wine this was the totally perfect compliment for a great weekend. We know where we will be going for our next celebration cake”

The curries were absolutely delicious, the prices very reasonable, and the service warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet — no regrets at all. “We heard from hubby's mates about this place and how they have the best chicken & chips. Better than kfc & Joe's Cook. So tonight we tried it for the first time. We brought the Monster Munch it had 8 thigh pieces and 8 drums sticks with jumbo box of chips and 2 large potatoes and gravy. Well I have to say the rumors were definitely true. The chicken were freshly cooked to perfection and juicy. The potatoes and gravy were a hit with my kids and the chip's were fresh and crispy especially when you dunk it in the the potatoes and gravy. They also had these different salts there for you to pick from to use on your chips. Would definitely be going back that's for sure.”

“Stumbled upon this gem while on a road trip in Welly. We had the bibimbap and pork yukgaejang - blown away by the generous amount of ingredients in the dishes and the rich flavours. Even with the lack of variety in their side dishes, the main dishes compensated for it as they were packed with ingredients. Will revisit if passing by!”

They didn't have savignon (which is what I normally drink), but I tried the pinot gris and liked it, so all good.”

“The Hyderabadi dum biryani is a must try here. It feels very authentic and feels like from Hyderabad. The mutton haleem is very special here and one of the only places it is available in Wellington. All other Hyderabadi style curries are delicious. My wife liked it a lot as well.”

“Amazing atmosphere and real, authentic Indian cuisine. If you are a real fan of proper spicy food (and you can really handle the heat), mention "Indian hot" with your order. The staff were very polite and the owner came around a few times to ensure that we had everything we needed. Thank you for a slice of tasty spice wonderland in Wellington!
