“We like that it’s a small hole in the wall brick oven pizza place. Perfect for in and out. It is very nice, comfortable and welcoming. Fast & friendly service and pizza was superb. We got the Carne. Crust was thin, soft on the inside and a perfect slight chewiness on the outside. Also perfect amount of sauce & cheese. We totally enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend this place.”

“I first visited this heart warming spot a year ago to celebrate my little brother's bday. Since then every mention of Vietnamese food has had me thinking about the exquisite crispy pork summer rolls, the most delectable Watermelon long island cocktail and the Pho - the Pho actually deserves its own 5 star review to be truthful, its succulent, amazingly flavorful, and its amazing flavour profile makes it feel like its good for your soul. When my brother offered to fly me down again this year for his birthday, one thing was on my mind PhoViet. And it was truly worth the wait. Walking in you often get greeted by Alex, the owner who makes you feel so welcomed and like your part of the family there. Remembers the orders of his regulars, and ensures you are always well fed. Alex greeted us and remembered me even after a year and ensured myself and my little brother had an amazing time eating truly fantastic food and enjoying amazing drinks. Big thank you to Alex and his team. I will be thinking about those summer rolls and those Watermelon long islands until I managed to get back to wellington to visit again.”

We spent the next three weeks of our trip looking for another place with as good food and friendliness and couldn’t find it, so we just had to come back on our way driving to Auckland. I tried the veggie red & green curries and both were perfectly done and piled full of vegetables. We weren't too hungry so we shared a mixed meat on chips and they brought it out with an extra plate for us to share. The meat on chips was the most delicious one we've had yet. Though a little space, A Taste of Greece offers every facet of the Greek experience you could want, from over-stuffed shelves filled with olive oils by the litre, sardines, fine salts, and classic Hellenic confectionery to cabinet food offering five types of feta, the biggest baklava slices you’ve seen, and savoury delicacies you wish your own mother could cook. Stay in for the Greek Burger or Halloumi Salad, both are very reasonably priced and simply delivered. A good takeaway menu means you don’t have to contend for one of the five little tables, though be aware that this place serves Greek souvlaki, not the mis-labelled souvlaki Christchurch residents are so adamant about. Go here to feel all the warmth of a big Greek family, and enjoy the moments between delicious bites where you ponder buying an ornament Greek Orthodox cross or quoting My Big Fat Greek Wedding.”

“I used Grace Removals Wellington for a house move & storage late last year and found them to be amazing, so decided to use them again for a small business job, moving from my home office into a new commercial premise. Once again, they have been fantastic. First up, quoting and booking is easy and the office team has excellent communication - I received an easy to understand quote and paperwork, and great reminders and information ahead of the move day. On the day of the move, the team arrived when they said they would and did an excellent job moving my gear. They were super friendly and professional. In my opinion, Grace are premium movers - there are cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for, and I think the service they provide is worth every cent! Just one small area you could perhaps improve on - I've found the stickers you placed on our home items when they went into storage are very hard to remove and leave sticky residue behind, it would be great if you could use stickers that peel off easily and don't leave glue behind :)”

“Muay bien! A hole in the wall serving the best Mexican in Wellington (and maybe even NZ). Love the delicious soft corn tortillas and that the fillings are all cooked with coconut oil. Perfect takeaways to enjoy a sunny afternoon on the waterfront. Andres the chef who hails from Mexico is an absolute cracker.”

“Went here for my birthday. Tried a few of the starters, such as garlic bread, bruschetta, 3 cheese arancini, and the Provolone al forno. All were really good, and i could eat an endless amount of the Provolone al forno. I got the carbonara, and was nice and creamy. Tiramisu for dessert was good too.”
