“Highly recommend Island Bay Childcare - warm, friendly environment. I am at ease that I know my son will be taken care of. Teachers and Sarah - from the front desk go above and beyond for families - we feel very welcome here. Thanks for a great first experience of daycare it's been a dream!”
“We were glad that we placed our son in Little Wonders' care. The environment is friendly, professional and educational. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, genuine, down to earth, and trust worthy. Children play outside in the nice big backyard with lots of things to play on. There's just a wide variety of play and learn going on. My son loved Little Wonders, too bad we had to move to Auckland. I highly recommend Little Wonders to anyone needing childcare for their children. Thank you so much to Kuku and Paua room teachers especially to his key teachers, Chrishanti and Juliet. You have contributed to his learning experience. Ian still misses everyone and still talks about all friends he made at Little Wonders :)”
“We’ve absolutely loved our time at Millie's House. The Kaiako (teachers) are so supportive and caring, and the environment is great, lots for the kids to do. Our son has thrived here. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend it to other families!”
“Join your kids up. Teach them some stuff you don't know or don't have time for.”

“Great play ground needs a toilet for the kids.... oh wait there's some trees”
“A lovely place where you can find out all about what is happening in the community, take exercise classes or whatever your hobbies are. In the centre of town.”
“Always taken care of and manicured.”
“Enjoyed the past 5 years with AE Mana for my two kiddies. They provided great care for my kids and started their learning journey off strong. Thank you AE, Mana. We miss you. x”
“Few cities are fortunate enough to have a theatre and company of this high calibre. Constellations is a superbly crafted piece of theatre demanding the very finest of acting skills and Hutt Reps production delivered in spades. Renowned for its wonderful sets dedication to craft and authenticity the theatre’s recent enhancements with new seating and lighting rig add to what is already a high bar. Beautifully directed with great thought given to the demands on the actors in this two hander. Transitions were completely seamless and flowed naturally from one scene to the next. The real star of this show was the superb sound and light design. With bone rattling accuracy we were moved in our seats by the use of some rather large, I believe 18” sub woofers secreted beneath the audience dais. The teamwork required to create such a slick production through movement, dialogue, sound and lighting was outrageously good.”
“A sometimes overlooked green space with an elevated harbour view. Easy access off Burma road, and ample parking for most events. Senior soccer is held here in the winter months.”
“Fabulous park for kids and those who want to play outdoor games”
“I don’t typically enjoy stepping foot inside a Hallensteins store as I find it is often filed with grubby teen lads, and I often don’t find clothing I would like to wear. However, I was more than impressed by the Lambton quay hallensteins. Particular note must be made of the lighting quality in the changing rooms. Doubled my shop time by simply staring at myself in the mirror. Copped 2 very nice t-shirts as well for a handy 2 for $50 deal! TLDR: worth going just to admire yourself in the changing rooms mirrors”
“Very good customer service. I rang to find out about yoga classes, the guy who answered my phone was extreme helpful , courtiers and provided all information I needed. Pls pass my compliments to him for a job well done. Cheers John Khan”
“Good deck. 129 runs (17 x 4’s; 5 x 6’s) - 2012”
“Hidden jewel if you love action sports or being active when Wellington weather is acting up”
“We are happy with our choice and highly recommend Barnardos Wellington Central :) The centre is clean and spacious, and I love that they plan nutritious meals for the children. The place is very warm, friendly, and has really taken care of our son. As parents, it is extremely important to us to find a childcare where we could entrust our little one to capable hands. We feel like it was our second home :) Shoutout to Aswathi and to all the teachers for being dedicated and for inspiring the children to learn and have fun at the same time. Your passion has made a positive impact on my son’s journey. Our family really appreciate the care you have for our little one :)”
“This place is one of the incredible places in Wellington. Most likely this is part of the waterfront. If you visit the Wellington waterfront harbor, you will find this beautiful park and kids playground. Totally free of charge. Kids can experience adventure and fun at the same time. Highly recommended place.”

“The kids love this playground. Lots of options for games and activities with plenty of places to sit for a snack and a drink as well. Having the cafe kiosk and toilet block right there is equally important for kids and parents.”

“My friends baby Bernice & I, go to Baby Jam. We made new friends & enjoy our time there every Tuesday. Yayyyy Warm place & they have a lot of cool stuff for the babies. From small ball pits, toys, safety is well checked, swings n slides & more.”
“What an amazing find. A mostly flat field with a collection of playground equipment, with the best view from a swing, ever! The field is surrounded by native bush, and the birds love it. Only downer is the lack of parking, but perhaps that is why it is so quiet. But don't go there is a southerly :)”
