    The greatest workout area in Wellington, on Sundays there's a huge group that shows up, and the ambient is fantastic. Great energy and great people, strong as hell and with amazing calisthenics trikcs

    Good green park with activities for kids. A rare find in the city. Springy rubber floor around the bars, good amount of parking. Nice to be amongst the trees keeping fit, you will see walkers, runners, & mountain bikers passing through. Its a bit of a hike to reach if you go walking but worth it.

    Really like this park. Always parking and a good variety of things for a few different ages to play on. Has a smallish grass area and basketball hoop as well. Walks in Mt Vic start right from here so you can have a play and a walk in one outing. Possibly the best bit is that its sheltered from the strong Wellington wind. Only reason it's not 5 stars is that the equipment is getting a touch old and could do with a refresh.

    The Pirie Street play ground is a small but well formed park. There's play stuff (which doubles as exercise equipment for the kids, (swings, climbing stuff, monkey bars and a slide), a basketball hoop, a nice grassy spot (with a seat and table), and access to some of the best trails in the city on mount Victoria
