“Olé is amazing! If you are looking for something more interesting than Asian or Italian- this is your place. The tapas portions are generous and delicious. We had the pomegranate and home made lemonade drinks and they are divine. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and experience, the food is prompt and tasty and the service is excellent. We left full and impressed. We’ve been to Spain and the food at olé is authentic and awesome.”

Ordering was a breeze (thanks Rosie!!) the food arrived faster than my typical “fast food” visit, and the atmosphere at the quiz was like I was playing The Chase with Bradley Walsh. “Beautiful pub with a good selection of beer and wine. Some specific NZ branded beer as well. I liked the ambience, the staff were very friendly and greeted with a smile. I will definitely recommend this place. Gorgeous wait staff as well ;) The portion of snack is perfect for a person as well.”

“Aubergine is our favourite restaurant in Wellington and we go there for every special occasion. This time it was my wife's birthday. As always, we were treated to a lovely evening with attentive service, fine wine and a beautiful meal. Aubergine has just the right ambience for an intimate evening dinner, the food has never been less than excellent and we are made to feel very welcome.”

“Service was fantastic from an attentive server. Oysters and mussels were tasty and presented well. Flounder was cooked perfectly and the meat from the ribs fell off the bone. Delicious and good portions! Very happy.”

“We visited Sea Salt for lunch today, the meals were excellent, served by a charming waitress. The crispy calimari was one of the best I have enjoyed, just the right smount of pepper, and perfectly cooked. Brilliant coffee, served hot too.”

“If you become a member there you can get a discount on food and drink. Atmosphere was pretty chill when i went down but they do usually always have something going on weather it be a band or karaoke etc. Food was on point I had the ribeye steak with all the sides, staff were lovely. Wheelchair accessible kid friendly, they have a small timezone area out in the atrium. Be AWARE you need to be a member or with a member to drink alcohol there but anybody from the public can eat food there. Always a great go to when I need a steak meal”

“We went in on a quiet night. The food was great. We got the beef wellington and seafood chowder. Our server was kind and made sure to let us know about the dessert special they had that day. One of the best desserts I've had in a long time. Highly recommend.”

“We booked for our daughter’s birthday dinner with a group of 9 and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely table with a fantastic view of the water and the staff even offered to keep our cake in the chiller until after our meal. The food was delicious and the portions were more than adequate with everyone stuffed at the end. We ordered the bao buns which had a lovely little chilli kick to them, and Korean fried chicken was an absolute favourite as was the pita with roast pepper hummus which was so delicious. We were even able to take leftovers home with us which was an added bonus! Can’t wait to come back.”

“Delicious French pastry treats, pies, salads, and cafe items. An amazing range of French inspired sweets and a cabinet of savoury rolls and panini that the staff will toast for you. A small selection of salads. Good coffee.”

This property represents absolute excellent value. Furthermore, these marvellous old pubs are a what cities were once about. The bar and food is excellent too… I received a 10% discount chit that was an added bonus for my stay on all food and beverage. Thank you…. XX”

“Spacious cafe with good food and very friendly staff. Prices are also very reasonable and it is one of the best places on the Massey campus for exterior views. It could use some more support from the University in terms of signage as the cafe is somewhat difficult to find.”

“The Sunday night roast smorgasbord is a great value quality meal in a bright open plan venue. The food delivery is fast and easy to access with large numbers of customers present. Many in our group had seconds, so plenty of quality cuts of meat including roast beef, fish and pork roast were available. The deserts were excellent as was the service. We will back for our next large party event.”

“Amazing! We had the high brunch which was delicious, dainty, generous and everything I always wanted in a high tea without all the sugar over load of a usual high tea. I loved having so many little savoury treats, fruit and chia pudding. Also a lovely quiet atmosphere so we could talk easily to each other. Total win in every way!”

“My friends and i really enjoy this bar/restaurant. The team behind the counter are really friendly. Prices are reasonable the song choices are superb it gives the place a sort of retro vibe which I like very much. Highly recommend you check this place out for yourself.. 5 stars”

“Love the food variety they have and their generous portions! Had their chicken curry combo with the chicken fried rice and it was the best. However only downfall, they included way too many potatoes and only 2-3 tiny chicken pieces; it felt more like a potato curry”
