“The chicken pad Thai and Tom yum prawn We ordered have Authentic taste. The Massena beef curry is also very good. We also mango sticky rice which taste great. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.”
“Aroy Thai in Rolleston! We have been waiting for Aroi Thai to open here in Rolleston. This restaurant is one of our favorites and go to comfort food in Wellington. As usual the food taste and quality is great. We ordered green curry and substitute the chicken to crispy pork. And because we love crispy pork we ordered extra crispy pork. We also ordered beef pepper and roti kaya. The food was all delicious. They have a new menu that is plant based which is great. Because they just opened, they gave us a free thai gourmet ice block. I chose milk tea which is yum! We’ll definitely keep coming back at Aroy Thai to try other items in the menu or just order our usual.”

“The best Thai food I have ever had. Nice serve and great decor. Can’t recommend enough. Pricing good to if you take into consideration the location and the serving size. Order a main each, and take home what you can’t finish in a container.”
“The food here is not very expensive and the portions are quite large. The service of the staff was very attentive to my partner and me, which really impressed me. If we have free time, we will definitely come back.”
“Ordered via Uber eats. Usually when eating from here we get takeaway and it’s always been really good. Nice food, and quick. We often get the pad Thai, basil chicken, satay chicken, roti and prawn spring rolls. Would recommend”
“Bought the tom kha soup with chicken on Friday night. This dish is my favourite Thai food & its hard to find a good one between Thai restaurants, but this one was incredible! A perfect balance of flavour elements & a decent spice to it. Absolutely loved it and will be back! Thank you chef!”

On the plate at Drift Cafe, Restaurant & Bar, Napier, the idea is classic fish-and-chips and well executed. A sensible spend for the quality. Sweets lean classic and not overly rich. Good value shows in the serve sizes.

“Have dined in twice now. Love this little place! The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The food was super delicious and very reasonably priced for the big portions they give. Can’t wait to dine in again next time I’m in Wellington.”
“Lived down the road from this place for nearly 2 years and finally decided to try it a few weeks ago. Came again tonight and was still as good as the last visit - best Thai food in town for sure! The servings were super generous and very well priced, in fact I was very pleasantly surprised at the amount of seafood in our dishes too! The food also came out very quick even though they seemed quite busy. The staff were very friendly - especially the Thai girl who was especially pro! We have definitely added this place to our frequent visit list.”
“A gem in Miramar. They have some dishes that you can't find in other Thai restaurant, such as the chicken wing stuffed with minced pork and vermicelli (wow), and sum tum salad, which has sliced deep fried chicken/beef and lettuce aside (wow). Though their Tom Yum soup is very average. So I guess it depends what you order. And the bar is really good, the Lemon, lime & bitters only costs $3.”
“This restaurant does not deserve it's current rating. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. They are also accommodating if you have dietary requirements like I do. The food is great with good portion sizes. Definitely give this place a go. I assure you it's well worth a visit for moderately priced great Thai”

“My favourite Thai place in Auckland - and I eat a lot of Thai food. Generous portions and fresh ingredients and they don't skimp on quality like other places. Everything on the menu is great but my favourite is the spicy beef salad and chicken satay.”

“We ordered Soul Thai via UberEats and was highly impressed with the quality, presentation and taste of the food. The branded packaging was neat and we thoroughly enjoyed each of our dishes including, chilli lime fried chicken, chicken Larb, chicken Thai fried rice, Thai prawn salad and salt & pepper squid. The flavours were fresh, vibrant and the requested spice level being Thai Hot was catered perfectly to. Highly recommended!”
