I had dinner here 3 weeks ago with friends and we were all incredibly disappointed. We arrived at 6:25pm and only got our drinks at 7:07pm, after having to ask multiple times. The waitresses did not appear to have been trained properly as we had to ask multiple times for water, tables that arrived after we ordered drinks we getting their food before we got out drinks, and another table had to go to the bar to order food as they were not checking on tables. One of the lights was flickering and hurting our eyes, the tines on the forks were all bent, and the spring roll entree appeared to be straight out of a freezer packet. They couldn't make Mimosas, they were out of pork, and there was a bone in our entree. The main dishes were nice and cooked well, but lacked a lot of flavour - if there was some spices or salt used it would have improved the dishes a lot. The main didn't come with rice which isn't unusual, however we didn't get told this until we had to ask after our dishes were served, this should have been made clear when our order was being taken - as they do at every other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. The "spicier" dishes had less flavour than one of the mild dishes. All four of us agreed that we would never eat here again.

Food were nice, just the main doesn't come with rice and the price is around $30 to $40 for each main meal. the average cost is $50 at least. Maybe the location? Thats why the price is higher?

Way overpriced; $27 for Sweet and Sour Pork on rice. Was very bland and a small serving at that compared to 99% of other Asian takeaway places. Server was also rude and was not going to let me in by my self. Wouldn't stop telling everyone feel free to move tables (would come up and repeat it multiple times) and would not let the elderly couple next to me have a single serving.

Unbelievably rude service. Went in late for a quick meal and was told we needed to order a min of two dishes to be seated!! Ordered two one of which was fine the other and was not. We were off-put with the green curry dish which smelt and tasted not good! We told staff and they chose to completely ignore us…no exchange for anything else offered! We went to pay and they insisted/ argued with us for payment which we refused! They told us in front of other patrons that we made this up only wanting to pay for one meal in the first place. Followed her to the kitchen and told her how unbelievably rude they were, disgusted and embarrassed to be accused of such a thing. Had been there many times as I live locally. Will never go back.

We like the food but the takeaway service if very poor. We ordered online and was given an estimated time of 30 minutes. I turned up to pick up after 35 minutes and was told it was 5 minutes away, this pattern continued to repeat until the food arrived 30 minutes late. I tried to complain to the management and they were extremely unhelpful. I recommend not buying online from Angel Thai in future.

Yummy food & peaceful environment, beautiful view from the windows upstairs. The lady waitress was quite rude though. I don't know if she was just grumpy that I wanted to sit by the window (there were literally only 2 others in there and almost all seats are empty), or she was judging that I won't spend lots of money on food. She was rushing me to order after I sat down for just a minute, and showed attitudes after I answered to get some water. By that point, I had not even looked at the drink menu. After I ordered food, I asked for the drink menu again, because she took it away before I even looked. I love the food, but I don't recommend coming here. There are so many nice restaurants & cafes in this area, why risk encountering bad customer service?!

After reading some of the recent reviews I was worried about staff being rude to customers and having a bad experience. I decided to go to this restaurant last night and I was amazed how well they have served us. They even asked if we would like to change our table to be closer to the window view. They clearly have done something because we had a great night. We ordered the green curry and the Pad see ew that were incredible and delicious. I will definitely come back!

The best Thai food I have ever had. Nice serve and great decor. Can’t recommend enough. Pricing good to if you take into consideration the location and the serving size. Order a main each, and take home what you can’t finish in a container.

Rather overpriced for tiny servings. We ordered 2 soups for $10.50 each and they arrived in the smallest size takeaway containers. For a serving so small I'd expect to pay $4-$7. Also one of the soups was advertised as containing tofu but arrived with just chicken in it. And the tofu in the tom yum wasn't deep fried (just silky) as it usually is which made the texture less enjoyable. Though the broth tasted good the servings were much too small to ever be worth ordering from here again
