“Delighted that they have opened in Karaka. The sushi was so fresh and delicious. I have a very serious avocado allergy and the staff was so careful, they put on new gloves took out all clean unused equipment to prepare and roll my sushi and they even cut it by hand so as not to get any avocado traces in my sushi. The staff is so friendly and helpful, can't wait to stop in again and get another salmon roll!”

At Maru Sushi, the menu stays simple, bistro-style, served with an easygoing pace. Front‑of‑house runs with calm, helpful energy. Plates offer plenty without tipping heavy. Pricing lines up with the offer.

“Very fresh salmon (it’s really fresh) and freshly cooked rice! Not chilled or taken from the fridge with dried rice and just defrosted fish like most of sushi makers do… Very yummy! Comparing with sushi from botany town food court, “st Perrier” from Pakuranga sushi, and “mr Lee” from Botany junction. Ps - on the photo there are Chicken Yaki Udon and Miso soup.”
“Making food intended for friends and family, that's the difference.”
