We had lunch here recently, the Beef and Salmon Don are highly recommended. The man who served us was friendly, and although a small place, the atmosphere was good.
I decided to try this place and ordered a chicken teriyaki donburi. Unfortunately, it was disappointing—there was barely any salad, the chicken portion was small compared to similar options at the same price, and there was no teriyaki sauce in the rice. Lesson learned: always check reviews before giving a place a shot.
Thought I'd give this spot a five star as I see a lot of bad reviews for this place giving it an unfair star rating on Google. This place is great dunno what people are complaining about. They have some really cool different pieces you can't get from a st Pierre's for example. Yummy snapper and sweet n sour chicken pieces.
Had some nice sushi when I went in there this morning. All items in my picture cost me $19 total.
Worst sushi ever - accidently I went to this sushi shop and regretted it. The person who served me a elderly asian man had no interest - he dumped the sushi (lost its shape) the rice we semi raw , the chicken skewer was overcooked -$24 total bill- dumped most of it in the bin.
walked in, approx 2.40pm, on a Monday, hovered around for at least 20 seconds in store, and no one came out to acknowledge or greet me. 2O secs doesn’t sound like a long time, but in retail, it’s an eternity- especially given the cabinets were basically empty. Went across street where service was completely different, purchased/ate their.
From my experience, the sushi is below average. Also, they do not have plates so if you are dining in you still use a plastic container which goes in the rubbish. Furthermore, some of the pieces of sushi are wrapped in glad wrap (something I've never seen before). Not sure why... Do not come here expecting to have a zero-waste lunch!
