“I cannot overstate how fantastic Elyssa Vulpes’ teaching has been. After 10 years of trying and failing to teach myself the piano, I finally decided to get lessons. It really proved how a good teacher is so worth it. Elyssa tailored her lesson plan to fit my needs and goals (namely improvisation around chords). She always comes prepared for each lesson and can show why each drill/skill she teaches is important and how it connects to my goals. She is aware of the difficulties of being a beginner at an instrument and is able to create an environment so that you stay encouraged and motivated. First he got assessed and then all the "gaps" in his learning are being "filled in". With regular re-assessments we see his amazing progress. This is due to the supportive one-on-one, individual nature of Kip McGrath lessons. My son ALWAYS comes out after his Kip McGrath lessons happy (even if he says he doesn't want to go sometimes!)
