After a long break from learning the Piano as a child, I decided to return to it as an adult learner. I couldn't recommend Elyssa and her team more highly. The lessons are highly structured and, as an adult learner, the practice notes are delivered in a way that works with a busy schedule. 10/10.

I’ve had a wonderful two years with Elyssa in her vocal class since moving to Wellington. She is truly a great teacherβ€”always following up on my practice at home and introducing new exercises during lessons and adapting to my needs and interests. I’ve learned so much from her over this time, and she’s really helped me feel much more confident in my voice. Really appreciate all these time and effort on me.

I really enjoyed my lessons here. Justin Kim was a great teacher, incredibly patient and able to explain things in an easy way. His passion for guitar and music was inspiring. Elyssa made everything regarding my subscription easy to deal with and I never had issues with payment. I can't recommend this place enough, and especially Justin Kim for guitar.

I cannot overstate how fantastic Elyssa Vulpes’ teaching has been. After 10 years of trying and failing to teach myself the piano, I finally decided to get lessons. It really proved how a good teacher is so worth it. Elyssa tailored her lesson plan to fit my needs and goals (namely improvisation around chords). She always comes prepared for each lesson and can show why each drill/skill she teaches is important and how it connects to my goals. She is aware of the difficulties of being a beginner at an instrument and is able to create an environment so that you stay encouraged and motivated. Her expertise, preparation and support have been invaluable. If you are looking for a music teacher who will make you achieve your goals, look no further!

I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons with Elyssa. She's a great teacher who truly cares about her students progress and wellness. Her approach to singing through the teaching of mindfulness and the more technical explanations of things was good fun and really helped with understanding how singing works best for you personally.

I got to do 10 vocal sessions with Elyssa and it was a great experience tailored to my needs. Elyssa spends time getting to know her students and at any moment needed adjusts her plan and approach to focus on what is needed to overcome blockages and gain better understanding of the learning process. I saw visible improvement in my voice even tho I had not sung in many years. Highly suggest her lessons if you're looking for growth !

I have to say I am very happy with my experience with Elyssa and Devyn. I have two daughters, one wanted to learn violin and the other piano, but I was a bit wary because I had some bad experiences before with music schools and teachers changing all the time. What I liked about this set up was that it is very personal and professional but I felt I was dealing with people rather than a nameless organisation. My daughters really enjoyed their lessons and are now keen to play together! I would recommend to any parent who wants their children to learn music properly but also wants them to have fun and wants to make sure their teacher doesn't disappear after one term!

I went to Elyssa because I wanted to re-learn piano after a long pause. I was never very good at reading and I wanted to be able to play songs without struggling so much. I was very surprised at how fast I learned and how different her method of teaching piano was. Now actually understand what I am doing and am able to play songs so much faster than before!

Elyssa is outstanding! Superb professionalism. 6 months ago I had a personal goal: singing a specific song in the best possible way. The starting point was the in all my life I never sang and was also off-key. I was willing to learn and Elyssa understood the nuances of my goal. We set up weekly lessons which I greatly enjoyed. Each session was modulated by Elyssa with method, creativity, progressive care of details. She also gave me a really useful set of home exercises and a warm-up method, to enhance the tone and the style of my voice. I had a great fun and enjoyment in each session, and noted that the progression I could gain through her continuos vigilance and advice, was notable and very encouraging to me. She has a great skill to transfer meaningful nuances of sounds learning with proper examples, and also with visualization technique. Plus a right reminder to feel the right feelings during the song, to adjust the body posture (I tended to move my head too much...) , to breath when and how needed. I highly recommended Elyssa for passionate learners.
