“We love swimgym howick. Both of our children are currently enrolled in the learn to swim programmes. They are both thriving and I cannot believe how well they are swimming. We have been lucky enough to have extremely skilled teachers over the last four years who have built relationships with my children and encouraged them to love swimming and be safe in the water. Highly recommend Leah, Amy and the team at swimgym Howick.”

“We had our daughter start at Lollipops when she was around one. We love this place and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a loving daycare for their children. The teachers have been there for a long time and are all beautiful women who cares so much for the children. They do weekly music classes, has a super fun outdoor play space which they use daily and my daughter has learned so much from mat time. They also make beautiful, healthy home cooked meals which is amazing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough.”

They create such a warm, encouraging environment that my daughter looks forward to every class. It’s a great price for the level of quality and care the instructors provide. Being a teen my daughter has struggled with confidence but has grown so much in this because of Swarm. Highly recommend this studio to any parent!”

“Waka Huia is the most wonderful place, very child-centred and in a calm/ relaxed/ family environment. Different aged kids all play together, the big kids look out for the little ones, lots of tuakana-teina opportunities. The kaiako are awesome educators, highly experienced and genuinely loving and kind. My daughter has grown a lot under their gentle guidance. She loves the animals (chickens and visiting lambs), outside play year round, cups of tea, dress-ups and treasures (shells, wool) to play with.”

“I saw Ivan yesterday on short notice for a calf strain ahead of a marathon this weekend. Both he and the lady at reception were kind, clear and welcoming. Ivan has good technical knowledge and was able to provide realistic advice and guidance on managing the injury. I'll be back in future and would highly recommend the Active+ team to anyone.”

“Amazing service!! Went here to get my nails done for my formal and was VERY happy with the outcome. Especially because I went to this nail salon previously who really butchered my nail. This place really saved my nails and everyone was complementing me. It's been about a week and I still don't want to take my my gel nail polish because it's very beautiful. Not only that but the customer service was amazing, everyone was kind from the workers to the owner, making me feel very welcomed. Also, an AMAZING price for the quality of everything. “I visited a couple of times during my stay in Newmarket. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I can’t fault the value — a day pass was very affordable at NZD $11 (around £6 for me). Please note that this review is intended as constructive feedback and does not reflect my overall positive experience of visiting. The changing rooms felt a little run down, and a spin dryer for swimsuits would have been useful. The pool itself was a great length, though I did experience a strong chlorine reaction in my eyes. The sauna was more like a saunarium, while the steam room was excellent it was spacious, consistently producing great steam, and one of the best I’ve been to. That said, it could have been cleaned more thoroughly but maybe it was the time of day i entered, and the ceiling may need replacing at some point. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here, especially the 50m pool the first I’ve come across. Many thanks.”

“My daughter started Able Music piano classes when she was 5 years of age. She is 8 now and still is with them. I have seen how my daughter has grown to love piano and has learnt a lot. She has even played piano at her pa's funeral. I have no regrets putting her into Able Music.”

The teachers are fantastic and have taught her her first words in Māori, English, and even sign language. The meals are healthy, well-balanced, and delicious—my picky eater always asks for more. The staff organize wonderful events, like a recent disco party, that involve the whole family and create a welcoming environment. MyKindy truly feels like home for all of us.”

“My daughter has been attending Wee Wisdom Montessori Drury since November 2024, and previous to her joining she had been enrolled to several other daycares, kindergarten etc and not one of those centres did she enjoy more than she enjoys Wee Wisdom!
