“Delicious food- we sat in the sun with our 3 dogs on a lovely autumn day… service was great. Fantastic spot… a bit of Africa in NZ”
“Great place, nice cozy atmosphere, can get noise during mid toate afternoons but still a good place to get a great meal”

“I wanted to eat steak, but there was no main chef, so I just had a simple hamburger.”
“Walked past some nice smelling food so couldn’t resist popping in. The Palau took a while to make and was pretty oily, but it tasted good! Dahl with lamb curry was yummy too, my kid couldn’t stop eating the lamb. Definitely returning here.”
“This was by far one of the BEST BURGERS I've had in years. Just the most juicy, delicious & tasty burger and for about the same price price as a normal crappy burger from a burger chain. Do yourself and your tastebuds a massive favour and make a stop at Phat Burger! Excellent value!”
Moiety runs with a classic fish-and-chips menu and a relaxed feel. Plates offer plenty without tipping heavy. Portions make for an easy, filling stop. Fish is cooked to a clean crunch and chips stay tidy.

Coriander's Prestons leans into a simple, bistro‑style approach with tidy execution. Portions are generous yet well judged. The team keeps things friendly and organised. Pricing lines up with the offer.
“Nice food! They open only once a month for dinner! Want to come back to try other dishes.”
“I had my pleasure to have dinner at Cassia. We tried the Feast Menu. The foods were delicious! Great cocktails! Lovely services. The Daal could be improved because there was an overwhelming taste of Maggie Spice. The Fish Taco was the star for me. And of course Beef and Lamb!”
“The food was authentic and delicious. Being raised in a border town in Arizona gives me a bit of an edge when seeking out great Mexican food. I was on a business trip and stumbled on this gem. The birria quesadilla and tacos were simply outstanding. The service was fast and friendly. You won’t be disappointed. If you like it hot ask for the salsa picante! Muchas Gracias Mr. Taco!! Ramon”
“Breakfast meals were good. It’s a busy eatery so no real interaction with service just go in and be seated. You do need to go to the counter and order they are too busy to take table orders so don’t sit at your table waiting which I noticed a family do. Enjoyed the omelette and mango lassi. The menu has a lot of variety showcasing their Fijian meals. Servings and price was reasonable. Will go back to try their mains. Definitely try them out.”
“A hidden gem bordering the city centre! Fast and friendly service. Delicious, fresh and authentic Japanese food. Great portion sizes and pricing. Welcoming atmosphere with lovely decor.”
“The food is amazing. Easily one of the best local Thai eateries. Have been before and will go back again.”
“Brought my parents here for their 45th anniversary, was totally worth it. Got to try their Kagoshima A5 wagyu to see if it lived up to the hype. Was amazing. Never tasted beef like that before, melted in my mouth like butter, didn't need any garnish or condiments, just grilled and seared to perfection. The set menu was good too but the Wagyu was definitely the highlight. The different wine pairings worked really well too”
“Had lunch here and it was very nice to sit in at a restaurant with exceptional service and great food! The portions were also generous, will definitely be back again.”
“The food was delicious and outstandingly well prepared. We had 11 out of the 17 menu items, every one of them was delicious and full of flavor. The person who was serving us made our visit the best and exciting with every plate she served us. Will go back every year we are scheduled to pickup cargo. Awesome food and wonderful atmosphere.”
“Delicious Thai food! Very good portion sizes for the price! Did not disappoint. Will be coming again.”
“This is one of the best sushi restaurants in Auckland, but I wish they would write the price on each type of sushi.”
“Just landed in NZ and after a strange experience in the Woolies that was mostly empty we were looking for somewhere to eat. Owner offered us so much and even made fresh avocado sushi for myself! Super friendly and would recommend!”
“Ichiban Ramen in Auckland city is hands-down the best ramen spot in town! Their karaage is an absolute must-try, it’s crispy, juicy, and always a highlight. The vibe is cozy yet vibrant, and the staff (shoutout to the Karaage boys!) are super friendly, making every visit a delight. Can’t wait to come back for more!”
