Parking was a bit challenging with limited slots and no street parking, but the cozy, welcoming atmosphere made up for it. The staff who served us was very kind and provided great recommendations. We ordered two pizzas: Mushroom & Ricotta and Chicken Meatballs & Artichokes. The mushroom pizza was incredible, with ricotta cheese perfectly complementing the crispy crust. It wasn't too salty or greasy - just perfectly balanced. The Chicken Meatball pizza was equally amazing, with fabulous meatballs and a delicious sour lemon zest. Small , family run Japanese restaurant with amazing options of both vegan and not vegan food. Our favourites are Agedashi Tofu, veggie tempura and seaweed salad which is must try ! There are some choices of sushi including vegetarian but if you ask they make it vegan. Plenty of choice of Sake as well for connoisseur of that drink. Staff is always nice and friendly and very polite. Since tables are limited booking is recommended especially on weekends as place is always packed. Sakura is No. 1 Japanese restaurant in town without doubt!”

They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times. We’d prefer to enjoy dinner from an owner-operator place like PL rather than a chain restaurant any day!”

“Amazing woodfire pizzas that packs great flavour and have great variety. The spicy chorizo was a standout but we also liked the truffle prosciutto as they both had subtle flavours balanced by great dough. Service was amazing as well ended up spending 4 hours catching up and the guy didn’t mind and never even pressured us at all. Great cozy spot that we’ll return to for sure.”
