“Just like to say a huge thank you to the lovely ladies here. Thankyou for helping me this morning ladies really appreciate it. Highly recommend this shop.”
“Bought a great stable and comfortable stool at a great price. Very friendly and helpful staff”
“Fabulous customer service from Sians and the team at Nood Westgate. They were super helpful with design advice and recommendations.”
“Went in to the shop to look at some Lundia shelves that we had seen on tradeMe. Owner described the different tiers and pricing as there were choices between older/refurbished/best condition units. Owner is transparent, up front and to the point. Before coming in I noted some lower reviews of the store with regards to customer service, one can only assume these reviews were made by the same people who get offended when some one uses the "wrong" pronouns. After talking to the owner I was quoted $430 for a set of shelves which we agreed to. When I went to pay he indicated that the price was actually only $395 and thats what we were charged, a clear sign of honest business. Very happy with the shelves.”
“I stop by this store every single week. The staff are brilliant. Kind, helpful and it makes the experience great. The store is well laid out and easy to shop. The prices are average to good. I usually find a bargain and a treasure or two. I recently purchased my favourite bag, which was handmade by a volunteer and I get so many compliments!!!”
“Great store, great staff! Specifically, Mark was terrific and ensured no hassles even when I'd made a hiccup with my order. Superb customer service.”
“Needed a couple of random little plumbing bits for work, knew this place would have everything we needed and after a bit of rummaging managed to find exactly what we needed. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. Love this place, will be back :)”
“Myself and an old friend (traitor) have made many a paid business trip to this Iconic Dunedin location, a truly carthartic experience! Some would be turned off by the smell. however, much like how the best Devil's lettuce smells like some form of Guano, I believe the same is true of a good trash palace. The hoard of seagulls and various other sea birds make the entire occasion feel more like a leisurely experience at one of New Zealand's lower tier wildlife sanctuary's. Bonus points to all the workers there who give you the most sturdy thumbs up out the window as you drive off.”
