“I'm always a fan of going to restaurants located slightly outside the central city area. I tend to feel a sense of community and not to mention supporting local business. Prime spot in Brooklyn, and you won't miss it. To top it off, friendly service always helps. I felt the layout creates a different vibe through the restaurant, a nice touch. My personal favourite on the night was the prawn toasts, yummm and the chef's dessert of the night.”

“I have done this place a huge injustice by living in Hamilton for 10 years without knowing it existed!!! The interior resembles a real Italian trattoria, and the ambience is authentic. The food was brilliant, and we tried traditional pizza, bolognese snd parmigiana. Gelato and tiramisu rounded up the wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!”

The kitchen at The Wayfarer takes a coffee-and-cabinet path and lets the food speak. Service moves quickly through the morning rush. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying. Service stays present without fuss.

“Authentic Italian on the beachside. I’ve come here twice now to try the pizza, and it’s always been good. They have some vegan options however they are not labeled very well on the menu so you will have to ask. Portion size for the vegan pizza was average, but the other food look well well portioned. Lovely staff and a great venue, excellent date location.”

They are really busy on Fridays at peak times (because it’s so good) but staff are always super friendly and helpful. We make sure to order around 5pm on a Friday for shorter wait times.
