   Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Tauranga! Everything was perfect. The braised lamb ragu was incredible — full of flavour and easily the best pasta sauce I’ve had. Pasta was cooked perfectly, and the garlic and herb pizza crust was a great match. Staff were super friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Special thanks to Zoe and the manager on duty Perera. Will definitely be back — highly recommend!

   Wow! This has to be one of the best restaurants in Tauranga. We had a faultless dinner. The starters were amazing, in particular the Arancini balls were something else. Whatever the sauce is that comes with it, I could eat it all day. The snapper and prawn ravioli has to be some of the best pasta I've had. Bursting with flavour and the pasta was perfectly cooked. Not mushy and a beautiful bite to it. Being in an Italian restaurant I had to get a Tiramisu. A good hearty portion and everything you'd expect from a fantastic Tiramisu. Would highly recommend. The staff were all exceptional. Incredibly friendly and attentive without being over bearing. We will definitely be returning and would recommend everyone to go here

   We discovered Sugo on a wet and blustery night, and what a discovery it was! Such a welcoming place to enter, it was a pleasure to dine in such a delightful environment. The service was warm, helpful, obliging and fun yet very professional. The food. Oh my word, the food was exceptional! We started with the Carpaccio which was excellent as were the arancini, so crisp on the outside and melting inside. We shared the 12 hour lamb shoulder and it was sublime. We finished with a gorgeous cardamom brûlée. The meal was outstanding, Highly recommended.

   Absolutely scrumptious! Food was out the gate. My favourite dish of the night the beetroot salad! Our waitress Maddi deserves a gold star. She was friendly, charismatic and super duper helpful. She helped with my decision making as there were so many dishes I wanted to try. I absolutely can't wait to go back.

   Service was great from both the host & our waiter & the food was phenomenal. Highlights for us were the scallop entree & the lamb ragu but the lasagna was also amazing. We’ll most definitely be back. Loved that they had a separate plant based menu as well.

   Love, love, love this place. Exceptional food, choices, flavours, drinks. Wait staff are great too. One of our party required gluten free food - there were so many options, she was so impressed - the pasta she opted for was the best ever she said.

   Our experience at Sugo was absolutely wonderful. We arrived early for our reservation, but the staff was accommodating and sat us at the bar until our table was available. We had both a spritzer and a wine, which were both great. Both the standard and plant based menus had great food options, all of which tasted excellent. The service was incredible - quick, attentive, and friendly. Thank you for an incredible dining experience!
