“Grabbed the 2 slices & a soda for $14 on Saturday just to switch up what I usually get at Riverside. I was prepared to be unimpressed, but had the opposite experience. The 2 slices of pepperoni I ordered were comically huge and utterly delicious: spicy, cheesy, rich -- not sweet sauce -- flavoured with herbs and spices. Very good value, imo.”

“Supreme deep base pizza was great value, well made and tasty, easily good as the big brands. Fries were excellent and a good size serving. Fast service, ready exactly on time. Would definitely visit again.”

“The customer service here is absolutely outstanding! The staff are so genuinely lovely, they’ll even hold the door open for you, or bring the order to your car (when I've had kids in the car). The buffalo chicken wings are hands down my favourite, always a hit! Most people don't know about the chicken wings, so please do yourself a favour and add them to your next order!! Every visit has been nothing short of perfect. Honestly, I don’t have a single complaint. Highly recommend!”

“The guy behind the counter Aidan (hopefully thats spelt right lol) Guy was a hero, went in on Fathers day as per tradition and he let us know there would be a slight wait due to Oven issues, no stress at all! It looked like he was working a solo shift which is bananas for a sunny Fathers Day! Dude never crumbled under the pressure and knew how to prioritise orders, my family and I placed a pretty sizeable order so we were expecting a long wait time since it was just him doing it all, he managed to get the small orders out fast so customers didn’t get upset, he slipped us an extra few garlic knots as an apology for the wait (hopefully I dont get him in trouble for that) Just solid, cool calm and collected service! - matt”

“Absolutely delicious food and decent service. The food couldn’t have been better absolutely chefs kiss as always! Service was good though was a bit disappointed that when the waitress poured our water she spilt quite a bit over the table and said she’d be back to clean it up but never did so we ended up using a serviette. Atmosphere was nice. Overall a really good experience. Definitely recommend if you want good food! Just bear in mind that it is pricey”

“I went to Caffe E Cucina for a tinder date (which went pretty well, I think she likes me!) for lunch, and had a great time. We ordered different kinda small plates from the prima section of the menu and shared those which worked well as we weren't super hungry. The service was good, and prices not toooo bad. The food was definitely the highlight (after the company) with everything cooked to perfection. Seared tuna blew my mind.”

“Had the best experience at Proper Pizza, all thanks to Nithya! Her service was honestly next-level, so kind, friendly, and genuinely caring. She made everything feel so easy and welcoming. And the pizza… wow. Tasted like proper firecooked perfection. Crispy, smoky, and insanely tasty. The vibes in the place are super cozy too, making it the perfect spot to chill and enjoy good food especially with mates. Nithya really made the visit unforgettable with her energy and attention to detail. Can’t recommend Proper Pizza enough, and if you go, definitely ask for Nithya, she is amazing!”

“friendly attentive staff, who didn’t miss a beat.we had the calamari to start, yum! then 12 hour lamb which is massive and so juicy and delicious with a side of asparagus, which i was super surprise how good it tasted! all three dishes had there individual special magic sprinkles bits that i have no idea what half of them were , i just know it was delicious , and the bonus being there is so much lamb we got to take it home, so looking forward to having an other go tomorrow”

“We had a wonderful experience at Bivacco — starting with great cocktails and a crisp brut that paired perfectly with a sunny waterfront afternoon. The Roasted Hawke’s Bay Lamb Rump and the Black Angus Eye Fillet were cooked beautifully and full of flavour. We finished with the Classic Tiramisu and an Affogato, the perfect end to a relaxed, memorable meal. Highly recommend.”

Highlights: Light, high quality pizza dough Fresh, fresh ingredients, high quality pepperoni and squid Best Arancini we have had, love the little chilli kick. “I have had lunch here on a weekday, and dinner on a Friday night but early. Both times I enjoyed the plant-based food and the atmosphere of the place. For dinner I had the fajita tofu bowl (pictured) - I cannot rant enough about how good and perfectly cooked their tofu is. Verrae nice: crunchy crust and not soggy. Both times I enjoyed having quite a few options to choose my meal from, and how fresh the ingredients are. It’s also handy that this restaurant is right on the beach, and handy for parking and the bus stops. Staff have been very responsive and helpful both times, so 5 stars it is! Will be back to try the other menu options.”
