I came in for a coffee and it’s really cool cause each one has a double shot and I opted for a third shot and it’s only a dollar more and then I saw this amazing scone And I had no intention of eating food until I saw this thing and I’m like I gotta have it and wow, it is one of the favorite things I have eaten in a while. “OMG this place deserves a gold ten-star rating. This large converted building has a warm rustic vibe & is complete with a wood-burning fire for those wet, chilly days. The staff are welcoming & the menu & cabinet selection is simply next level & at reasonable price points given the exceptional quality & variety on offer. I had the rosti stack & my fella had the sweet corn fritters with side salad. They did not disappoint - they tasted as good as they looked. The organic Havana coffee was also excellent. If you are in Hawkes Bay you simply must take a detour - it will be the best food you’ve tucked into in ages. This place beats anything we have frequented in years! There’s also a wide selection of giftware for children & adults.”

“Lovley wee Cafe. Plenty of outside seating, on a nice deck, with ample parking spaces right outside. Had Eggs Benedict with salmon. Eggs were perfectly poached with a plentiful amount of smoked salmon. The best latte I've had for ages! Definitely reccomed this Cafe, next time I'll be trying the whitetail fritters”

“Temptation is slightly more pricey than other bakerys. But their food is also slightly better than other bakerys. The potato top pie is to die for, and the customer service is always good. Will be coming back. Also, once I asked them to make a custom steak and cheese potato top, and they did. Pretty cool.”

“Just stopped by for coffee but was enticed by the lovely food in the cabinet. Got a brioche instead to go with my coffee which I found exceptional. It’s a small cozy place with very nice ambiance. I could not help noticing the steady stream of people stopping by for coffee or baked products to go. Staff were vibrant and friendly which is always a plus in a hospitality setting. Will definitely be a “go to” place for me from now on.”
