    My 90 year old mother was banned from eating at this coffee shop because she complained that her blueberry muffin had fallen apart as it was not made properly and she couldn’t butter it. She then had to put it in a bag to have it later. See photo. The staff were extremely rude at this establishment. Her 2 elderly friends also independently had a similar problem with their muffins recently. Do not come here if you can avoid it.

    The best date scones you will ever get in N.Z. and the flat white coffee is perfect. Our favourite cafe in OREWA. The location is perfect for being next to barbers, library, and New Wold supermarket. Get it all done in one swoop.

    I discovered this place as I started my new job and I tell you what it's a really nice place. They offer take out food and cooked menu food it is limited but it's reasonably priced. The coffee is really yummy, I use oat milk and they make a mean cuppa joe. They are really nice people as they seem to know your order if you go regularly, I was on my way to work and I had to adjust my bag strap and I knocked my coffee and the people I in the cafe told them and they kindly made me a new coffee no charge. Which made me really happy. They are located down by the Library in Orewa open 7.00-3.30 Monday to Saturday. I heartily recommend Cafe Largo.
