“Chambourcin Cottage - what a wonderful place. So well located - nestled in it's own vineyard, and then surrounded by many other beautiful vineyards, as close as a walk or cycle away. Kim and Bruce were so welcoming, from the first email interaction, and were extremely generous with local knowledge of local vineyards and restaurants. The cottage itself is stylishly appointed, with no detail overlooked. The most beautiful accommodation on our North Island holiday. A real find!”

From picking us up at the ferry, giving us charcuterie and wine upon welcoming us into the lobby, and spending every meal overlooking the ocean. They arrived and had a nice genuine chat asking how we had come to the decision and confirmed this was the kindest option for Max in his old age. Vet and vet nurse talked us through what would happen. They were so patient and we never felt rushed. They gave us time with Max after and could tell they genuinely cared. Highly recommend as Max was relaxed and in his home when he went.”

“A perfect flat white made with locally sourced Hohepa milk. The owner is a fantastic friendly guy who surfs longboards. They do takeaways, but I'd recommend taking a load off and enjoying your relaxing cuppa in-house. Highly recommended.”
