“The dedication of the staff at NZ post centre, Halfway Bush Dunedin deserves applause. I more than appreciate the guy picking my parcels at a time when he had already finished his round. Thank you for the extra mile, mate. You are much much appreciated. Bless you. Please keep it up. Your lovely gesture was inspiring. May God brighten your lovely gentle smile more and more. We all perform our duties, all the time. You perform it with dedication.”
“Inside the Pharmacy. They had been very helpful.”
“I previously posted a lengthy review to diffuse the negativity of the majority of the comments, but it seems to have disappeared. Those gremlins are everywhere. Recently the post shop was run by one woman, lovely, doing the best one woman can leading up to Christmas. The chemist was also run by one woman plus dispensing person. Run off their feet. I could feel the tension and their stress. Every time I visited I bought them a box of chocolates. The staff has now been increased, as well it needed. Nos gremlins stay away from my review.”
“Posted parcel no bother, no queue, need to go down back of shop to find counter”
“Excellent service and help from the owner when posting internationally. Great service and friendly as well.”
“Great service everytime I go there to post a parcel domestic or international.”
“I come here to send letters to my grandad. He was locked away for level 3 tax evasion. He said that he doesn't need me to send letters anymore. He snuck a phone in via "below the belt methods" . Beautiful service here. 5 stars”
“I go here mostly for the post shop rather than the pharmacy. It’s very convenient on Girven road and the staff have a warmth about them that is mostly missing from larger stores. If I did need a script filled I’d trust their advice.”
“Wonderful staff very knowledgeable”
“I'm happy with the service most of the time. The staff are patient and friendly. I think some reviewers are being too harsh on the staff. They should try using Aramex - then they'll realize how good NZ post is.”
“I went there to print photos for my passport, staff are really helpful and friendly. I was happy that they provide the photo printing service in thorndon branch, since most of NZ post branches do not.”
“Always helpful and friendly. I think our postshop is the best!”
“Extremely helpful and friendly staff”
“No idea why there are many negative comments, but I have been there so many times (as they are close by) and the customer service has always been excellent. Happy to rate them five stars. And the 4:30pm time is not in the hands of staff. I'm sure this is because of the mail collection cut off time for the area etc...”
“She's been on a charm course! I have been to this Post Shop twice recently and there was a woman matching the description of Ms Grump working there. Smiling, helpful - couldn't fault her customer service. One time only me to be served but second time there was a queue and there was a time waster in it. She still was patient and helpful.”
“Collect your missed parcel here. Bring your 'missed delivery' card for smooth process. There are 2 staff at the reception, give them your card and they will scan it and bring your parcel. The room is pretty small and the waiting time can be long so I recommend you avoid the peak hours. Must have ID. Overall process was amazingly convenient. Lots of parking space.”
“Best post centre !! Always accurate with pricing and my parcels always get to the destination when sent from this shop. The guy is friendly and gives me a great service”
“My local postbox is getting ripped out so my closest postbox and post office are these guys. I don't have a problem with their customer service - they had always been friendly and be as quick as they can. Don't understand the low rating? If it's to do with packing supplies, you do need to bring your own if you haven't packed it already at home. The entitlement is outrageous. It's the same at any other post office - you bring your own. If they give you any, it's because they are doing it out of sincerity. So thank you, for those that did that, but know it's not a given. I would highly suggest not to do it again though.”
“Very impressed with the service from the Ladies at the counter. Top notch PR skills. Approaches have to be mutual of course. One can pay their mobile bill here as well, for senior folks like me who has that option to, same as your power bills. Great to still have that option going. Let's face it, the digital era is a lot scary for the elders.”
“I’m impressed. Considering the busy Christmas parcels and the steady stream of business as usual customers, three words come to mind: Smart, Efficient and Professional. I could not fault the service. Straight to the point, asked all the questions politely and offered the pricing options. I was all done with a box to the South Island within 2 mins. The lady serving knew exactly what she was doing. Top marks!”
“I've been using this store for around five years now, not regularly, but appreciate they are the last place on the mount side of town you can send a parcel on a Saturday. Never had an issue, service always smooth. Only issue is weekend parking, but that isn't in their control.”
“Love looking around a useful shop for gifts”
“Went there to post a package with my 1.5 year old which is always a struggle. The attendant gave him a lollipop and helped me with the forms because the kid was getting a bit rowdy. Was really impressed with how helpful he was. Thank you.”
