I picked up a parcel today that I'd had delivered here through NZ Post's parcel collection service. The Indian lady was friendly and handed it over promptly.
I was sending a parcel using NZ Post Box Size 4 with a total weight under 1kg. I clearly told the staff member (an Indian woman working at the counter) that the package was under 1kg she even had asked me twice. However, I was charged: $12.90 for Courier Non-Signature – correct $6.50 for the Box – correct $12.90 extra as “Courier Within Island Excess”, which I believe is incorrect since Box 4 is allowed up to 5kg. This brought the total to $32.30, when it should’ve been $19.40.
I have always received fabulous service from the mail man, courier drivers and in general - Thank you for all the great work you do to ensure our parcels are here on time.
V helpful staff. I do a lot of parcel drop offs and staff are always great. Once they noticed a mistake on a parcel, phoned me, and fixed up my mistake. Amazing service. The shop is very handy for grabbing office stationery and gifts. Great service and shop.
This India one is very rude. Tried to overcharge me extra $2. It was not a big deal for $2. But your attitude is detestable. You are standing your own culture. You need to figure it out how to treat customer in a proper way. Gross experience.
Staff are friendly. Location is convenient. Parking is easy. As a regular sender of parcels. This was my first time sending a parcel from this NZ Post Shop, and the first time EVER! something got completely destroyed. The item was wrapped so well, yet was completely destroyed upon the receiver getting it. How did that happened. My guess is that something heavy was placed on top of it. Don't mix post bags with heavy items! Won't be back here.
