Don't post anything important or valuable here. I posted my tax return in May and the post office managed to lose it, even though all they had to do was collect it and drop it off in IRD's mail bag in Lower Hutt. It's not difficult and every other post office in NZ I've used managed to deliver previous years' tax returns to IRD. The woman behind the counter was rude and rough looking, which made it much worse when the tax return 'disappeared'. Those tax returns contain numerous personal identifiers including everything a criminal could ever want to commit identity theft. I had a terrible feeling handing it over to the rude, rough woman, and my feeling turned out to be right as IRD never received the tax return. It's caused me considerable stress due to IRD not receiving the tax return and also the fear of identity theft.

Staff member at 17.40pm 08/02/22 was not friendly at all when I was picking up my delivery. I could hear her yell in the back when she couldn't find my package then she didn't bother looking at my ID.
