Food establishment in New Zealand

“Phenomenal selection, including uncommon ingredients like asfoetida and raw cacao butter. I was surprised at how good their prices are - I compared some of my frequent purchases (tofu, chia seeds) against what I typically spend at New World and Liberty was significantly cheaper. This will be our go-to grocery store from now on!”

“Amazing food. And an even better coffee. Would definitely come here for coffee and food and day. The Chicken and Brie sandwich was delicious. Can't fault at all. Parking around the back which ideal for Christchurch. On a busy road so can be a little loud with traffic otherwise it's a 5 star place”

“Good coffee, would come back if I’m in the area”

“The Famous Grouse Hotel NZ offers comfortable rooms, friendly staff, lively bar, convenient location, and good value, though breakfast options are limited.”

“We loved it! Dutch pancakes so yummy. Coffee delicious and staff super friendly. Great atmosphere. And we can bring our little dog. Nice outdoor seating. We will make this Cafe our regular Saturday breakfast place!”

“Great staff and always friendly on my morning breakfast run at 3am”

“Quite a big store to be fair. They sell really good lamb chops lol”

“I love Dusk! My friend and I come once a week for their incredible pizza, glass of wine and a catch up. The food, service and views are always 10/10. A true local hidden gem.”

“Calling all long black coffee lovers. I have never been able to get a long black coffee that wasn’t watery or burned. I usually don’t bother ordering coffee when out because of this. I have just had the most beautiful coffee at this cafe and the service was cheerful, environment happy and calm. Too good what a great team food, drinks and service. If your coffee ☕️ is this good next time you may not get rid of me.”

“Friendly staff, a good selection of food and drink. A great place to meet up!”

“I come in to Columbus Coffee Ferrymead with my daughter usually once a fortnight sometimes bringing in other family or friends to have a meal. Been coming here for a over a year. The staff are very friendly and happy towards us. The meals are yummy and even more delicious now under the new owners/chef. Love the dairy free frappe's. Have also come here to have meals for our birthday's and anniversaries. We definitely feel welcomed here and will continue coming back.”

“Great bakery, plenty of options of good food and cakes. Friendly service. Parking from 10am onward can be really tight due to popularity of café. Great for catering for big morning teas.”

“First time coming here after craving Italian, best to book as its not a big place and fills up quick, got lucky calling 10 minutes ahead for a table for 2. Staff are wonderful, cheerful and happy to help, orders are taken quicken and plates cleared efficiently. It can be a bit of a wait for mains as theyre cooked fresh but worth the wait. Everything on the menu looks good and theres a big drink selection too. 10/10!”

“We had booked a table for dinner incase it was busy there being a Saturday night, pleased we did as it was a very popular place to be. Wait staff were prompt and friendly, helpful with questions and offered great service. The food was delicious. Salt and Pepper Squid entree was excellent and my rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. Thoroughly enjoyed our night here and would definitely eat here again.”

“Great food, amazing service. I would highly recommend! Generous portions too. I will definitely be back. Best fish and chips in Brighton”

“We had dinner here for 2 nights and Bishall and Karla who is only a Trainee was very helpful to me and my husband. They made sure that we are comfortable where we are seated and always spot on with the food in all aspects. They made us feel very special. Thank you guys. You rock!”

“Honestly don’t know what all the people on here are talking about, we went in tonight for dinner and had the most amazing service. Our waiter Eddie was absolutely amazing, great energy, playful jokes and some amazing service. He made the entire experience enjoyable. On top of that the cocktails and food were 10/10 I got the steak burger and it was huge!!!!! I was struggling to fit it all in my mouth but it was worth it cause the flavours were just phenomenal. Definitely recommend popping in here and having dinner it’s a great spot”

“This is as good as it gets. Really good Chinese food. Authentic Chinese and kiwi favourites as well. Nice, friendly service. Bathroom has had a major, much needed upgrade. In fact the whole place has been upgraded. We will definitely be back. From the way that the other customers (four different groups, two Chinese, two kiwi) related to the staff, you could tell that they weren't there their first time. It's a good sign when customers come back. We had the curry chicken, cha shao pork (much bigger dish than in the menu photo), Fu Yong egg (omelette thingy) and stir fried veggies. All delicious.”

“Decided to try something new I had the Stir Fried Beef Ho Fun, I was not disappointed. Tasted great , reasonable pricing for takeaway menu Highly recommend! Also the lovely lady who handed me my meal , warned me it was hot and not to burn my self”

“生煎包 is highly recommended, good taste. Would appreciate if they could advise the portion of dishes when customer placing the order. Portion is big, we order too much that couldn’t finish. Overall dining experience is good.”

“Loved this place. Lovely views across the river, great food, good service and good selection of brews. Had the lamb rack and market fish and both were excellent.”

“Really enjoyable Chinese meal which completely ticked all the boxes for us. Sweet n Sour pork, lemon chicken, combination rice, spring rolls and squid all fantastic. Very happy to have discovered this wee gem of a Chinese takeaway”

“Perfect fish and chips. Fresh and crispy. Generous-sized piece of fish.”

“Phenomenal food. The kimchi noodles were flavourful and not too spicy, the dumpling soup had a very rich umami broth. Well priced, friendly service.”

“We got a pizza & chicken tenders to go. Very tasty.”

“Great little pub. My local. Great happy hour, nice food, delicious roast meals”
