Michelle has always been a superstar, being super helpful by breaking down the cost and suggesting what works best for you and your fur baby! Everyone ordered something different and yet all the food was delicious and everyone was satisfied. Bill was also reasonably priced and good value for money. “Our second time at Apero in ten days, and both times were terrific. The food is imaginative and beautifully presented. The service is so good - a really friendly host takes you through the menu and the wine list in a very charming way, and you feel very welcome, appreciated and well cared for. All the dishes were excellent, and especially good - the potato dauphine and the strawberry soufflé. Oh, and the very good bread and butter! That something so simple can be so well done just shows what a tip top kitchen is at work!”

Since then every mention of Vietnamese food has had me thinking about the exquisite crispy pork summer rolls, the most delectable Watermelon long island cocktail and the Pho - the Pho actually deserves its own 5 star review to be truthful, its succulent, amazingly flavorful, and its amazing flavour profile makes it feel like its good for your soul. When my brother offered to fly me down again this year for his birthday, one thing was on my mind PhoViet. And it was truly worth the wait. Walking in you often get greeted by Alex, the owner who makes you feel so welcomed and like your part of the family there. Remembers the orders of his regulars, and ensures you are always well fed. Alex greeted us and remembered me even after a year and ensured myself and my little brother had an amazing time eating truly fantastic food and enjoying amazing drinks. Big thank you to Alex and his team. I will be thinking about those summer rolls and those Watermelon long islands until I managed to get back to wellington to visit again.”

“Honored to be one of Warung Kerol’s first customers and DANG they nailed it. EVERY. TIME! I ordered their Chicken Noodle Soup and it is seriously one of their best meals AND my favorite. Their Indonesian styled Fried Chicken (ayam goreng bumbu kuning) is so good too. As an Indonesian myself, I truly 100% recommend this for any Indonesians in Auckland who currently misses homemade Indonesian food. “Wow! What an awesome find! This is easily the best Thai restaurant in Auckland. Our favourite mains are the Pad see ew and Green curry, both are always so delicious and fresh. Highly recommend their money bags as an appetizer! Everything is cooked to perfection. The owners are amazing and so friendly. We also called on Top Ten to cater for an event, and they went above and beyond for us. Their portions were generous and the price was great too. Thank you!”

“A hidden gem that serves up some fantastic ramen and other dishes. Went here with my fiancée to grab some ramen and katsu after a long day of adventures and hikes. They are in a rather odd location, a warehouse district with no discerning signs of a restaurant in the heart of it. However if you have the drive it has definitely worth a stop. Staff is super friendly and dishes come out piping hot. Would just mention that there isn’t a ton of seating inside and outside so larger parties may run into some obstacles there. However a more intimate dinner date is easy.”

The food is excellent, the service is amazing, the price is great for what you get, and the portions are big! My partner and I usually get the teriyaki salmon and chicken katsu donburi. The ingredients are very fresh and balanced with the fresh salad. The sauces are very flavourful. We've tried other items on their menu and their sushi and they are all excellent. We'd say their sushi is some of the best we've ever had! The service is also amazing - the staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their face. It feels as though every order is very important to them. They also always remember preferences we have (e.g. not liking onions). This place is so good that even when we moved out of the blockhouse bay area to about half an hour away we still try to go regularly. We would give them more than 5 stars if we could!”
