We went here for a dinner while travelling around Dunedin and found that most of reviews given earlier are true. The place is nice, has good food made according to your taste. The owner Nafees and his family all work hard to give you the best experience. Nafees came and personally checked on things and ensured we were happy with food. Upon speaking to him we found out that he is very experienced chef with experience working at some of the best indian restaurants in NZ. I would recommend this restaurant for good food with great customer experience.
Halal Indian food. Recommended. Briyani really taste its spices. Masalah tea is just what you need. The only concern is the smells lingers on your clothes after you left. This is the same for all Indian restaurants that I have been.
A warm and friendly restaurant with amazing food. As great fans of Indian food we were so impressed with the quality, perfection of flavours and overall dining experience. We came back the next night to sample other favourite dishes and will remember these meals as the highlight of our visit to Dunedin.
We came here as a big family group. It's clear they're super popular. We waited for a bit but the staff was incredibly friendly and the food was totally worth the wait. Their home-recipe chicken is out of this world. Great paneer curries and other vegetarian options. We hope they will also serve hot beverages in the future. Overall a wonderful restaurant and we will definitely be back
Small nice Indian restaurant in Musselburgh. I usually have take away from here. Currys and breads are good here. I am not telling the food are extraordinary, but it is better. Garlic nan is good and big. Kadai chicken is tasty and generous for $15.50( take away). Order ready by 15 to 20 minutes. I usually depend upon this restaurant if I need a quick good meal
Worst indian food ever eaten. Garlic naan was decent but overall not so good. And service was bad lady did not even care to ask us about how the food was. Won't be back sorry!
Perfect. Amazing. Best butter chicken I have ever had in my life. Naan was huge which was good most butter chicken shop naans are small and disappointing. Garlic and cheese Naan I got cheese tasted amazing. Butter chicken sauce was creamy, smooth, tasty, flavourful, and incredible to devour. Chicken was perfectly cooked. Amazing and chewy aftertaste is amazing. Definitely coming back here recommend this very highly. Uber eats it
Phoned my order in for pickup, fantastic food and picked up without delay at requested time, friendly staff, look forward to exploring the menu. Naans are awesome, and onion Bajis were light and crispy, looks to be around 5 of these when you order. ** We ordered about an hour in advance for pickup so 6pm for 7pm pickup and food was being bagged up as I walked in the door, not sure how long an order would take if you ordered in the store ** ** Update - May 2023 We have been working our way through the menu, food has been consistently amazing, very generous hosts, ordered in store and food generally always only 15-20min away
Ordered dinner tonight from this amazing place. To begin with, very friendly staff welcomed me and took my order. Order was ready before time. Food quality is super and they adjust spices as per the requirement. I ordered Chowmein which tasted divine. Super soft naan bread and delicious paneer tikka masala. Defintely gonna make more orders in future.
