“Xi Ann Food Bar is a cozy, small shop that punches well above its weight. They make their own noodles from scratch, which truly elevates the dish. We highly recommend trying their cumin lamb noodles—they’re delicious, packed with flavor, and the portions are huge, easily enough to share between two people. The unique, fresh quality of the homemade noodles and the well-balanced seasoning make for a memorable dining experience. One noodle cost about 15$.”

“Mediterranean Foods Wellington has the best pizza in Wellington, hands down. The linguine is absolutely to die for, and every visit has been matched with genuinely friendly, welcoming staff. The place has such a good vibe — warm, lively, and the kind of spot you can proudly bring friends or family who are visiting from out of town. A definite favourite and an easy 5 stars. Highly recommend!”

“I had the summer rolls with prawns, the banh mi with chicken, and an iced coffee. Everything was wonderfully fresh and flavourful; the banh mi had just the right spicy kick; and the coffee was just what I needed on my Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. “Incredible value and huge portions! The food is delicious and there's plenty of options. The free soup counter is an extra bonus. I wish I lived nearby and could come eat here all the time! The sticky rice stuffed sausage was a bit sweet for my tastes, but the portions were still great. They don't offer stinky tofu as an individual dish- it's only included in hotpot orders. Parking is a bit difficult during peak meal hours. Excellent, excellent value!”

“This Auckland spot has some amazing Chinese food! The rice noodle rolls are so chewy and the sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be coming back to try the other flavors. And let me tell you, the polo bun and egg tarts were a hit - they disappeared in no time! I also grabbed some frozen BBQ pork buns to take home - there are so many savory and sweet flavors to choose from. Plus, the restaurant has plenty of parking, it's clean and the staff are super friendly.”

“Very welcoming and friendly customer service. It wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Our food came out quick, it was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. My favourite was the kumara wedges I really enjoyed that as well as my chicken apricot burger. The lovely waitress who served us from the moment we walked in was super sweet and lovely! I had an issue with my drink and she took it away and fixed it right away still smiling. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating available, it’s a lovely setup. Next time we’ll try the ribs as it looked so good when the waiter walked past with them to the other table.”

“Sometimes you just have to have a bit of those yummy American processed chemical foods to remind you of home. Is it healthfood? No. Did it bring me comfort and nostalgia when I felt homesick? Yes. Are some of the products expired? Yes, but those were clearly labeled on the website and offered at a high discount. Additionally their customer service went above and beyond when delivering courier did not handle the package properly. Now if I could just get some Wegmans products through their store too...”

ER DEE WA Restaurant & License (Thai-Asian-Street food) runs with a Thai-inspired menu and a relaxed feel. Stir-fries keep good heat and snap. Fried rice and classics arrive hot and even. Sides like naan and rice tie the meal together.
